M.K. Davis Breaks Down The Siberian Bigfoot Photograph
Check out this analysis from M.K.Davis. He guides us through some of the enhancement techniques that are applied to these amazing photos from Russia. Is this a real Bigfoot or Almasty? "The results might surprise you," says Davis.
More kookiness
ReplyDeleteBut really, this is a great analysis by MK folks!
DeleteAgreed!!
DeleteShut up Meg
DeleteI saw some promise yesterday on the lower leg in one of the photos, but these enhancements have really opened this up. MK has a lot to work with here and am sure more to come that might nail it. Wonder if Thinker Thunker can do some on this also. Anyone know the back story on these photos. I was wondering how they got it to stay around for some many photos unless of course it was a hoax. MK said rapid succession photography and I assume it is with pre digital cameras. Chuck

To many red flags red flags to conclude that this is anything other than a hoax.
I can't access the link, do you have another source?
DeleteNow I'm just as susceptible to being hoaxed an anyone else... But I think that looks pretty good.
DeleteThis analysis by MK Davis is brilliant and that my lovelies is a real bigfoot xx
DeleteJust like all the other bigfoot videos. Impressive yes because its the 3 or 4 minute money shot. Keep in mind the subject is running downhill which could easily add to the impressive speed. But Ill keep with my usual stance of, I dont know that this is a hoax, but just like every other video these people had the opportunity to pursue this creature and try to get more footage and didnt. I know, I know their scared. But still if it were me and I had the opportunity to get footage of an unknown animal, Im going to at least try and pursue it and get better footage until it stops running FROM me. If it was heading towards me then, yeah, Im running like a little bitch, LOL. But still noone ever pursues these creatures, probably because they are all hoaxes.

ReplyDeleteBigfoot having a beard makes perfect sense.
This weekend I have a HOT date. I'm hoping it will be a real Poopa Project.

DeleteBBRF. I too have seen Pratt's sketches based on eye witness accounts. Combine those, the close up of Patty and the description of close up eye witness accounts and to me it is clear we are not dealing with some relic gorilla/ape that somehow learned to walk similar to a man as was thought in the early days by researchers and some to this day.

ReplyDeleteJoe....Did you catch the Squatchers Lounge last night?
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha...Those alleged pictures of a bigfoot taken by that kid (the You-tube video was removed) turned out to be a guy taking a crap in the woods!?
Too funny. I thought that was a possible bigfoot. Oh well.
You are joking?!!! The Kyle Goodrunning pictures??!!!

DeleteNo problem... Thanks PGFCB.
Delete1. Were the two cameras in the same position and location? If not, how far off was Green's camera from Patterson's? Does any discrepancy in position or distance influence the attempt to measure the PGF subject height by using McClarin's known height?
Delete2. Did the two cameras have the same lens? If not, how far off are the respective focal lengths? How does this affect calculations of height?
3. Did McClarin walk the exact same path? If an answer is offered, how can we verify such?
Discrepancy #1
One discrepancy with the 25mm lens specification is McClarin's path as calculated by the lens formula.
The charts to follow show the principle concern if a 25mm lens was on Green's camera (and something very close was on the PGF). Green's camera position in this chart is based on John's own site visit and site measurements when he took the film. The basic Bluff Creek center trees are scaled to John's measurements (as well as Dahinden's measurements, and some interpolations for TC-3 and TC-5). The first diagram shows the estimation of the PGF subject's path, based on movement across screen (compared to fixed landscape objects), diminishing size, and approximate body angle to camera. The path was aligned to the landscape by the close proximity to tree TC-2, because the subject passes that tree so close that the sun's shadow of the tree falls on the subject's back beforethe subject even gets fully past the tree.
Discrepancy #2
In theoretical modeling, the path calculated by the 25mm lens specification seems to produce some steps in the path greater than a man can do, walking as McClarin did. Digital modeling can show extreme strides being taken, but cannot actually tell us if a man of McClarin's height can walk those steps. And if he can, the digital model won't tell us how much discrepancy there may be between McClarin's walking posture and a test subject. Only a live filmed walk will conclusively settle this, and such a test is being planned.
Discrepancy #3
Another theoretical modeling takes the basic site measurements of Green and Dahinden and constructs a triangle of three trees, as described by Dahinden (58', 49' and 12' apart for the three distances) to construct a triangle. The Dahinden measurement chart is below, with the three trees forming the triangle marked with red dots. They will be rotated 180 degrees in the subsequent charts."

ReplyDeleteIf you look closely, Bob's profile does not match the creature at all. His stride and arms are way too short for him to be the person in the suit. Also, when he's walking, you can see that his knees (and feet in other shots) are nearly not as highly raised as the Patterson creature.
The only problem is with he who cries every day here about the PGF.
Shut up Meg.
ReplyDeleteMake me nerd.
ReplyDeleteBobs profile matches perfectly in the image which proves there is intentional deception with the animation.
ReplyDeleteId like to see an animation where he is actually lined up like the picture.

Saw the announcement last night after 2 months of build up finalizing the date. History channel series starting Nov. 4 Search for the lost Giants. I look forward to this. JOE hope you get this in jolly old England.
ReplyDeleteChuck
I fear I'll be waiting a while Chuck... Only now the Curse of Oak Island stuff is coming on!!
DeleteThat reminds me JOE. The second season of the curse of oak island starts in early nov. here. You will like this series. I am really thinking this was the work of Scotsman and keeper of the templar treasures Henry St. Clair. Did you know that Columbus was related to the Sinclairs by either marriage or blood, can not remember which. He flat out new what he was doing back in 1491.
DeleteChuck
I can't decide between Henry St. Clair or pirates!!
DeleteI didn't know that about Columbus too!!
I would put pirates at the bottom of the list. First pirates did not bury treasure. Pirates were the only real democracy on the planet back then. Every man on ship was an equal partner and the Captain was decided by vote. When booty was taken it was divided up by share with most of it going to booze and whores. Crews would not stand for not getting their share on the spot. This hole is so elaborate it had to be the work of people with advanced engineering and the time and patience to carry it out. Just my thought anyway.
DeleteChuck
Interesting.
DeleteSHUT UP MEG!
ReplyDeleteThink this is another great job my MK. At no time have I ever heard MK say that he was an expert at what he does. Also, the length of the film itself..have you not been startled awake??? I have and it take many seconds for me to get my sense of where I am at and what needs to happen to A protect self B decide if it's just a dream C etc! YA know as far as the length of the film..last night might of been a ruff night chasing and capturing food which could really make you sluggish or maybe it's feeling poorly. Thanks MK Davis, glad you give me the option to make my own opinions.
ReplyDeleteGood point 6 18. I can not find original film on this as yet, maybe typing in wrong no. or letters. As for chasing it like the poster above said, yah that would be ideal. But who in their right mind would chase after something like this when it could rip you head off in one grab. It sounds good but when you are besieged by sheer terror of what you are seeing and what could happen your brain and defense mechanisms are telling you no way, get the f*** out here.

MK Davis has released another 10 minute youtube vid. a diff. pic from the side trying to focus on the beard. He compares the stove pipe leg also to a frame grab from Patty showing something interesting similarities. Early on you can see separation of the hair around the bicep. I think this is an even better vid.

The JREF footers are going bonkers over Bill Munns' new book and have come out swinging with charges of fraud and professional incompetency. This war seems personal for the JREF mouth breathers and appears to be no holds barred folks.
ReplyDeleteThey also lost their shepherd....ha ha.
DeleteI do not follow Jref. Not interested in folks that go through life with eyes and other senses half open. But this is a typical tactic. When you can not argue facts then attack the messenger. A Saul Olinski political tactic but it carries over into many other avenues. Say something long enough and you might convince others including yourself. Self fulfilling belief form.

The UK whacknut 2:31 3:56 continues his recent 100% losing streak:
ReplyDelete1. Misquoted/lied re Packham/BBC bigfoot 'not' being attempted recreation of PGF.
2. Tricked by a 2008 April Fool's day video, 6 years later.
3. Bleeves clown foot/shoe which bends in middle shows mid-tarsal break in 1955 film Half Human. (Odd, since this sceptard would be familiar with clowns and their accoutrements.)
4. Links to Kitakraze's loopy Bob Hilarious still shot (why yes, the cowboy hat in particular is a highly convincing touch). Patty dwarfs Bob even in this sceptarded attempt. The top of Bob's head comes to the base of the back of Patty's neck. The top of the cowboy hat only reaches the level of Patty's brow; this is further damaged by the fact that Patty is leaning over further than Bob; Bob's posture is more upright than Patty's in these photos. Patty's head is 'leaning in' and forward more than Bob's head is. This is not a straight across correct comparison.
Footers worried? About you, yes, they should be concerned about your vision and spatial skills and you being uttterly, energetically, absolutely, off your bloody rocker.
Whacknut's fascinating string of blunders continues.
Checkmate, sceptard.
Packham: "we will recreate, to the inch, the action at Bluff Creek."
ReplyDeleteUK whacknut: Packham/BBC bigfoot "was no attempt to recreate the PGF."
Claiming the opposite of what Packham stated in the BBC series, while simultaneously licking Packham's boots. Flat weird.

I thought it was MK Davis having a breakdown. When I saw just some dumb arse in a baggy suit it really ruined my day! Come on at least cloak or something...
ReplyDeleteJust two of MK's blunders (because uh, I uh can't stand uh his non-scientific uh analysis, nor uh his speaking uh style):
ReplyDelete1. Pant leg with hair does not conform to any known tapered lower leg.
2. Patty had no hair on her foot bottoms due to constant wear. MK completely forgot this important fact because he points at "hair" on the bottom of the foot of the costume that he thinks is a real Bigfoot.
1. The key word here is "known".
Delete2. He points to hair on the front of the foot of the subject in question, not to soles.
Looks like a yak got tired and took a rest.
ReplyDeleteIt is a fake! A chew baca suit with a pony tale. There was a UK show that tested all the Russian yeti hairs and found fibre glass, horse hair. The only real hairs were from Nepal and that was found to be an ancient Polar bear and brown bear cross.
