Todd Standing Speaks Out on Show Featuring Him and Surivorman Les Stroud
Get ready, folks! The special episode featuring Les Stroud and Todd Standing airs Wednesday at 10PM EST on the Travel and Escape Channel. The American episodes (two episodes) will air two weeks from now. The trek will take place in the Alberta forests and researcher Todd Standing promises some explosive discoveries. Personally, we can't wait to see if Standing will be able to deliver and if he is able to convince Les Stroud that there are Bigfoots in Alberta.
To those not familiar with Standing, he's the Bigfoot hunter from Canada who claims to know of a secret valley where he believes a group of Bigfoots are living. The natives calls the place Sylvanic, located between Kootenay National Park and Banff. During previous expeditions to Sylvanic, Standing captured videos and photos of the creatures.

Les, I have been a fan of yours, but how many times did Standing Try to get you to photograph a puppet and say it was a BIGFOOT. How many times did he try to convince you to file a FAKE Police Report, claiming the RCMP searched for you, when the RCMP never haves records of such a search. One thing I didn't really care for was Todd's statement something along the lines of "no photo will ever be good enough."

ReplyDeleteThe real reason Les is doing this is for his ratings. all survival type shows ratings are falling especially after that Bear guy got caught sleeping in a motel room, and was not camping out. Man/women wild show got caught when a mobile trailer was on set while filming. Same with the Duel survial dudes, they got caught to in a Motel. These survival shows are all FAKE!
ReplyDeleteActually, ratings increased for Survivorman after Bear Grylls (Man vs. Wild) was caught in Hawaii at a hotel. It was early in the seasons that was revealed, which is why MvW posts disclaimers that some situations are set up, etc.

Actually, it is a little more complicated than that. The only way that they can be taken seriously, is if they don't tell anybody what the found, don't show anybody what they found, don't produce a youtube video about what they found, and generally don't tell a sole. Only then, in the eyes of the trolls, of most other researchers, and of the news media, they are not hoaxers. A reverse catch 22.
