Next greatest footage of Sasqman... if its real?

Editor’s Note: This is a guest post by Beer-Man aka Paul, Shawn's best friend in Canada.

A friend of mine had a great quote to deal with the "coined" term "believer" in the bigfoot world.

"In all honesty I never had a word in mind regarding the "belief" in Bigfoot. To me, the word believer conjures up a blind acceptance of any and all evidence presented to an individual, which is simply not true in my case." - SasquaiNation

Well, in my case, I am that guy! It's guys like SN that keep me off the path of gullibility. I get excited about every piece of evidence that I come across (Shawn knows this as well) and want to share with everyone and 99% of the time, my excitement turns to reality-- And I keep searching. But, in this next instance, I "think" I am "kinda" (trying to be skeptical) stoked on this new video.

I have been communicating with "bigddriller1" about a video he posted yesterday. Heres our conversation:

Beer-Man (22 hours ago trying to be skeptical with a big smile on my face) - "what's the deal?"

bigddriller1 - no response

Beer-Man (18 hours later and still trying to be skeptical) - "Are u claiming this to be real?"

bigddriller1 - "All I know is I didn't hang around long enough to ask. I don't know wat it was"

Beer-Man (still trying to be skeptical and playing it cool) - "So you're saying it was not set up as a fake? Interesting? Would you might giving a location? Maybe a story of the events leading up to the sighting?"

bigddriller1 - "I live in southeast OK in the Kiamichi mountains.

I was going back to check on my deer stand last October getting ready for bow season. I had made it back to my stand and was checking everything out when I caught a glimpse of something. I thought it was a bear coming threw the woods like they do often by my stand. So I was just going to video it with my phone. As whatever it was got closer I could tell that it wasn't a bear. Then it started to make a wide circle around me and I tried to get a quick shot of it until it was getting a little to close for comfort and not knowing what it was I left. I'm just going to say this was the only time I've ever seen anything in the woods and couldn't tell you what it was for sure."

Beer-Man (patting myself on my back for my great research skills.....hahaha) - "Do you mind if I share your story with a friend of mine, so he could post your story and video on his bigfoot blog? Oh, and also.......very cool story!"

bigddriller1 - "That would be fine with me. Thanks for the interest"

Alright folks, lets figure this one out. At first viewing, I thought I saw a plastic face mask look towards the camera. Don't see it anymore. When you look at the arms, they seem to be the right length. The walk seems real. The story seems believable. And also its in HD off a phone, so the quality is pretty good.

What do you see?

[Update: Shawn's comment to me about the video: "meh..."]

  1. timmy we need you now more than ever. please tell me you think this is nothing more than a man in a suit. look how short its stride is. why didnt they go and look for footprints? why did they shut the camera off so fast why not keep the camera on and slowly follow it if possible

Uh huh, sure.....what ever you want to believe. Pffffttt.......

  3. That is a long stride and worth a closer look. What we need AGAIN is a repeat video or stills taken from the same spot with marker poles or a known height person where the figure is seen. Without some comparison yard stick you are stuffed trying to make sense of this on its own. Do a proper investigation or forget it. I like this but it is useless without a follow up, preferrably by an independent person.

  4. "What do you see?"

I see a guy, trying to look like bigfoot..
His legs is giving him away, so easy to see it is a human.

Also this is just another 20 secound footage of sasquatch. Why do these "witnesses" always only film for 10-20 secounds? What happens after they stopped filming?

However this footage is a hoax 100%.
If you think anything else, it is only because you want it to be a sasquatch.

    2. Oh shit, I see it! Also, it is pretty clear that he is getting higher after a few secounds.. I guess it's because he has a baby on his shoulders.

This one beats the Patterson footage any day!
This is actually bigfoot, trying to look like Bob!

  5. Its NOT real until MK says it is and this is in his back yerd. I have hard time seeing the arms. BUT from what I have been reading the color is right.
MK we need you!!!!!! Get going will ya???

  6. after watching it again and again---RED FLAG. Arms are NOT SWAYING the way they should. Most reports say Squatches not only have a LARGE arm swing. And if they ARENT swinging their arms they are tree grabbing to help them move through the trees. Either way the arms are going to swinging in a large sway. And this guy is not not only that it has a VERY humanistic stride.
    BAAAH!!!!!

I'd like the same model if I can get it, just a bit younger. Blnd, death, one leg and no teeth. The no teeth is a must :)

    1. Great job, BEER MAN! Sorry, but it looks like a hoax to me. I'm a believer, but the only footage I've never been skeptical of was THE P/G film

    2. I don't mind at all Paul.
I watched this a few times and at first glance it looks very interesting. After a few viewings I noticed a few things.

      The steps look too short.
No arm swing at all. I can't really make out the arm length.
The walk looks forced and unnatural, like it's trying to make it's stride longer.
A bit of a head bob.
Walk is not fluid and seems clumsy.

I can't call hoax on this because subject size hasn't been determined. The subject is too far away to make out any details.

It also took awhile for this person to get back to you, and when he did, the back story was short.

There are red flags in this video but at best it's inconclusive. That's my personal opinion and I'm not an expert.

Hey!? You're Shawn's best friend in Canada? I'm devastated and will likely cry myself to sleep tonight. Just kidding my friend;)

It's nice to see a post from you on here.

  18. Why is it that unless a Bigfoot walks right up to the cam.or cell.with a vile of blood and rips out some of its own hair for testing it is always fake?Am I the only one on here crazy enough to think that it might be possible that it is the real thing.

    1. Because the majority believes it doesn't exist and it's far more easier to believe what you are told. The sheeple life is uncomplicated, comfortable, and comes with a guarantee of cheetos for life.

That said, how can you say the arm length is "right" Beer-man when it's difficult to even see it's arms at all? And without any way to determine height, it looks fake to me. Including the treestand in the video would have added some validity to his story. For all we know this was shot at the edge of his backyard and stopped shooting because dad called him into the house.

  20. Melba here - This is obviously a real Bigfoot. Look at how it walks, like it's gliding on air. It's movements are so fluid and stealthy. It's difficult to mistake this for anything else. Definitely better than PGF. This one will be discussed for years to come, while we're waiting for Bigfoot to be proven to be real.

  22. The thing almost nobody takes into consideration regarding suspected hoaxes is: what did the suspected perpetrator seem to be trying to achieve? I can think only of fame, money, satisfaction at fooling people or absolute, sheer boredom. In the case of someone anonymously submitting a 50 second clip which is obviously going to be deemed a "possible" Bigoot at best, but most likely will be generally dismissed, one should consider how much trouble, effort and expense would have had to have gone into it, then factor it against what the suspected perpetrator is trying to do with it. Is it likely that someone would manage to secure a state-of-the-art (bad suits are incredibly easy to ID) monster suit, bring a suitably large accomplice with them miles and miles (in many cases)out into a wilderness area, far from roads, well-beaten trails, etc., to shoot a questionable, 50 second clip and then send it anonymously to someone or post it on a blog and then be done with it? Is it euqally as likely that someone, miles and miles in the wilderness is going to be set-up and punked by parties unknown (or even known) who would have had to go to the same amount of effort and expense, only to risk not even achieving the goal of their prank? Use common sense. And when one considers that quite alot of the particulars I've described align themselves with quite a few vids and photos (like Hovey's for example), then what must a reasonably logical, intelligent person conclude, provided they spend more than 30 seconds thinking about it? You know the answer to that.

  24. This is yet another clip that is too far away to be conclusive. Some people may see it as a bigfoot while others will label it a hoax.

For the sake of argument, if this is a real sasquatch, this footage will do nothing to convince skeptics, and it will do nothing to advance proof for the reality of bigfoot.

If a person filming a scene like this actually believes that they are capturing a real bigfoot on film and are not in on some type of hoax, one of these days, someone will have the guts to actually run toward a sasquatch with the camera on the whole time (which might result in them uncovering someone in a costume or perhaps some actual clear, close-up footage of a real sasquatch).

  28. Dang, it is too bad it was not closer or zoomed in. By going off the near by trees the guy filming is next to, plus knowledge of woods, what ever it is looks fairly tall, but thin. The trees are probably about 18-20" across the base on the big trees. Branches look cleared to about 7-8ft near the camera. So using best guess, stride looks long too. Well within human length but a human would look funnier trying to step that far unless they were pretty tall. It looks like whatever is trying to place steps quietly. As if stalking, but not creeping up to kill. Moving with a purpose, but no intent I guess would be best way to describe it. I wonder if the camera guy was in camo and was putting out scents for deer. I am on the fence with this. Need more data.
