Tim Fasano's New Team, Seminole Project, Finds Possible Skunk Ape Kill

Florida Skunk Ape hunter, Tim Fasano has been involved in a new project called the Seminole Project. They've been setting up trail-cams and are very successful at picking up images of wild life in the swamp.

During a hike, Fasano and team member, Kevin found the back half of a hog that appeared to be twisted in half. Fasano suggested to Kevin that Bigfoots are known to twist their prey in half (He heard this from Matt Moneymaker).

During the hike Kevin found a couple of different odd things. The first thing I found was the skull of some small animal. At this time I am not sure what it is but I am sure there is someone out there who can identify it. Please help me as I am not a trained biologist!

The second is the back half of a hog. It was cleanly severed in half with only a small tear near the ribs. There was no blood on the ground and there was no sight of the front half of the pig.

I don't think this was done by a person as who would purposely leave the ham and ribs? It appeared to be twisted in half after its' back was broken. I don't know if a bear would kill like this or not but I am hopping that there might be someone who can shed some insight.

  1. Half'a dead animal, looks twisted? Yep, it was Bigfoot, no doubt about it. I mean, what else could it have been? Mountain Lion? Nah, they don't have thumbs.

  2. A GATOR MAYBE???? Dont they twist there prey, death roll!!

    1. But that would mean it isn't a bigfoot! We can't have that.

    2. The animal bled out somewhere else and that is why no blood in the immediate area. To actually examine the animal, you really need to get down in it - close, with magnifying glass as a minimum. let us assume the animal was twisted as you say it was even though actual proof of that is absent, so what? Cat, Bear and Gators all have killing technique that twists their prey and yes, sometimes into smaller pieces. Ever seen a Llama neck after a Cat got dome with it - up close? Wow! Verts totally twisted around at several points (seen it above Oroville, Ca). How 'bout a Mule deer kill by a Cat in Northern, Az? Just behind the skull plate, normally, you will find two puncture wounds located just above the vert that is twisted 180 degrees. That all said, it's a very small pig. My daughter can almost twist that little thing apart - joking. Hey guys, don't stop what you do just, maybe, adjust how you do it... The guy standing seems like a nice fellow - go ahead, get your hands bloody! I do. Love it!!! Hang that sucker on a tree and conduct a field examination. Strip that little piggy apart and inspect it 'at' the tissue level. It's fun!

    3. NO, not Gator, must be Bigfoot. Anything else is inconceivable.

  3. If it was cleanly severed in half this would suggest a knife, as the hunter did not want to mess with packing the whole hog out.

    1. why would a hunter leave two hams?and take such a little pig head?

    2. Just for mounting. You can see it all the time in WV. Hunters will kill deer...cut the head off...remove the back straps and dump the rest on the side of the road. Unless thats bigfoot too. Lol

  4. Anyone know the locations of their trailcams? I can't wait to go out there in a bigfoot suit.

  6. Amazing how so many people claim know about the eating habits of a creature(s) that has yet to be found. Until the "skunk ape" (or Bigfoot) is scientifically confirmed as a real and is a distinct species (not some escaped chimpanzee etc.) any claims about it life cycle and habits remain conjecture.

I would love to find them, but anecdotal stories and questionable evidence are too weak to rest upon. Maybe it is true maybe it is not. So far, 2012 is proving the year of no Bigfoot / Yeti / Skunk Ape etc. I await the DNA study.

  7. Anybody know the name of Fasano's partner's YT channel? I thought it would be linked from Tim's, but no dice.

  8. I truly do not want to sound negative and condescending.
But if we follow this line of thinking, any dead animal remains found in the woods....is a possible skunk ape kill.
Assuming of course that there are skunk apes.
Why wouldn't a twisted bunch of remains simply be evidence of a pack of dogs or other animals, pulling, twisting and fighting over the kill.

    I'm just saying....

  9. But to Fasano. Everything is bigfoot..Even if he has to hoax it(palmetto monster)

    1. It's not just Fasano, there are a lot of Footers that think Bigfoot is everywhere. Finding Bigfoot is causing even more crackpots to come out of the woodwork. Next thing you know someone will see Bigfoot on a piece of burnt toast or in the shape of a chicken mcnugget.

  11. Oh, he heard this from Matt Moneymaker, eh? Well, then he's been educated in the finest school of tomfoolery. I love the trickle down information highway. I guess that would make Fasano the road kill of that intellectual speedway.

  12. It never ends. Squatch did this and Squatch did that. There are vast amounts of speculation and heresay spouted by under edecuated types. But there is still pretty much nothing since the Patterson film.

Tracks won't cut it, blobsquatch pictures won't cut it. A thousand testimonials from rednecks and hillbillies won't do it.

I hope Ketchum has something solid or it is over. I am beginning to suspect that most of the evidence collected has been planted by professional hoaxsters getting a good laugh at everyone else's expense.

  15. Fasano is a fake and hoaxer. He's pals with Rick Dyer for Christ sake. Unsub from his worthless channel. He hacked the thing up and placed it for the dumb ass with him to stumble upon. Anybody who is in the BF community for any period of time knows who the assholes are. #1 Dyer. #2 Biscardi #3 Fasano. The list goes way beyond those three.

  16. Aw man. When I first saw the article title, I thought that someone killed a skunk ape. What a let down that it's only a dead pig.

  17. This Fasano guy is one of the bigfoot serial hoaxers. You can all dismiss this as another hoax.

  18. The repeat hoaxers who try to make money with their bigfoot hoaxes are the real skunk apes.

  19. ok where to start, first off this whole scene was staged,it is a fake scene.have you ever tried to catch a baby pig, well i have and it's tough, where are the signs of a predator thats tried to catch this pig, there should be foot prints, there should be bare earth marks, not a bunch of undistured pine needles.this piglet has been cut some and then twisted, last i heard bigfoot don't use knives.i was born in 1967,the year patterson filmed patty.in 1974 i saw patty in a field and stream magizine and been stuiding this subject ever since.what it boils down to people is we need new faces in this field, not moneymaker not bacardi not fanaso, stadding or dyer ,im sorry but i believe their is a sasquatch out there but until we hunt or observe this animal the way we hunt deer, bear or anything else out there we are not gonna learn from it or they.one thing else before i go,vincon you judge people i don't like that, because i am a hillbilly and i've forgot more about animals than you'll ever know,so please in the future, for your sake, think before name calling please thanks.

  20. ok,there's a couple more things i've noticed about this killing.notice how limber the pig still is,has to be fresh kill.now, everything is green in video right, well i've bow hunted for years, some of my best bear kills where in bow season the second bow season, when flies are still out,and believe me when somethings dead in warm weather flies will have maggotts on them within an hour.now notice how they are not many flies on this carcass, very few ,which leads me to believe this piglett has'nt been dead for less than 30 mins. something to think about.

  21. possible? well, i guess its possiblely a UFO kill, or a bear kill, or a roadkill, or an anything kill other than a skunkape kill.

  22. Hi, I'm Kevin Thomas Kehl with Enigmatic Anomalies (yes, the spelling is correct).

I founded E.A.R.S. (Enigmatic Anomaly Research Society) several years ago with the explicit mission to study all things strange and paranormal. I/we would never hoax, embellish or stretch any story that we are working on. We don't believe in it and is part of our mission statement.

When I decided to create the webshow "Enigmatic Anomalies" to cover the hard work of others out in the various fields (including our own) I chose Tim Fasano because I had been following his videos on You-Tube for a while,he was local and seemed very knowledgeable on the subject of Bigfoot.
He was our first interview and was nothing short of a perfect gentleman.
Little did I know that it would turn into a working relationship.

Since that interview we have collaborated on several investigations with Tim and have NEVER seen anything that would lead us to believe that he was the hoaxer that everyone was making him out to be.

Since Tim has started his Seminole Project I have personally gotten more involved with his work.

I shot this pig video while on a mission to retrieve a media card from a trail-cam and is what "I" considered to be an anomaly.

Yes, it could have been any number of things that killed this pig, but since we were on a "bigfoot expedition" it seemed fitting to title the video "possible" bigfoot prey. Why not?
Is it exciting to think of it as such?
Sure! That's why we all do this. There is a level of excitement involved in all paranormal investigations but at the same time keeping a level head.

At no time did I or Tim say this is definitive.

Also, Tim did not lead me anywhere.
As a matter of fact Tim had no idea where we going to wind up as I was the one taking him down small unexplored paths and wound up miles from where he thought we were.
There is no way Tim cut the pig and placed it there.
You can lay that misnomer to rest.

I labeled it as an anomaly because of a collection of various reasons:

    * Middle of the week, not a soul around. Not even in the parking area when we returned.

*Area off limits to hunters. If it was a hunter that did it, then it was a "poacher" and if so why leave the delicious baby-back ribs and ham? Just for a trophy head?

*The freshness of the kill with absolutely no signs of blood or other body parts. It had to have been killed within 24hrs.

*No tear marks on the upper portion of the body.
It was a clean cut. To me if it was an animal there would be tear marks all over. We were not near a water source so you can rule out an alligator.
Can a bear do that? I don't know.

Again, this does not absolutely make for a bigfoot kill. That's why I asked for suggestions at the end of the video.

I can't speak to experiences anyone else has had but mine with Tim have been nothing but positive.
He is genuinely interested in providing reliable information while at the same time shooting something that is not painstaking to watch.

I look forward to posting more stories and videos of our investigations and discussing the enigmatic anomaly of bigfoot further.

    -kk

We all put our name and reputations on the line for this. I think it's less than admirable to call yourself anonymous going around taking potshots at others.

    1. Well, looks like many in the BF community disagree with you on the subject of Fasanos integrity. Look at the way he lashes out at anyone that disagrees with him. Or actually gets good footage of something in the forest.
Check out his latest video 4/2. He is a sad little man screaming for attention from teamtazerbigfoot..He is even trying it the same way rdyer678 did it. By the way Timmy. Your video was neither funny, witty, clever or very well thought out. Just what we expect of you.
As far as your big Project..Fasano will be out there as much as he can to check out the images. You will get the scraps that are left over. He wants all the fame and fortune. You will be a foot note
