Todd Standing appearing on "Callout Search & Rescue" TV show on Boxing Day in Canada

This morning on Manitoba's CJOB68 Radio, Bigfoot researcher Todd Standing was interviewed about his Bigfoot research at a secret Bigfoot valley (which the natives called Sylvanic). Todd also talked about about his featured appearance on the "Callout Search & Rescue" TV episode that's airing on the Knowledge Network on Boxing Day. In Canada, Boxing Day (December 26th) is a public holiday that takes place the day after Christmas.

Here's a tidbit that has nothing to do with Bigfoot: Several theories exist on how Boxing Day got its name. It may come from a tradition in the U.K. in which household employers boxed gifts for their servants. One thing is for certain, the name comes from storage boxes, not the sport.

Back to Todd Standing. Below are some photos of the Sylvanic Bigfoot creature Standing sent to the radio station.

  1. Isn't he known for being a hoaxer, like a huge reputation for hoaxing and photoshopping?

  3. Another member of the ever-expanding rogue's gallery of hoaxers. Now his main claim to fame will be getting lost in woods.

  4. I liked the "idbit" about boxing day. Always learning different stuff here.

As far as Standing goes, sounds like rumours to me. Or, someone out to get him. I will withhold my judgement on him. He does seem to like attention, but nowhere near what some bigfooters like.

  5. If it's related to bigfoot and the names Tom Biscardi or Todd Standing are associated with it, whatever it is can immediately be entirely dismissed.

  6. I wonder if the Bigfoot people are getting hair and makeup done before the photography shoots?LOL

Maybe they are putting all these pictures out there to save the true photos for the great reveal or just to test the public's reaction to certain photos?

Considering the above 3 pictures, I might actually consider the first one but my goodness that head is awfully pointed! The other two all I can say is they sure do look George Lucas could have contributed to the final product.

I'm also wondering about robots. Will the great reveal use robots to help convince people these particular Sylvanic beings are real flesh and blood beings? I sure hope not. Maybe for a Bigfoot amusement park but surely they understand that even those who do not know a lot about bigfoot are not THAT gullible???

  7. All of those pictures are FAKES. Todd Standing is one of the most notorious hoaxers in all of Bigfootery. Not only that, but he has told an incredible string of elaborate lies. Todd Standing is frankly a con artist! He is one of the worst of the worst of the worst.

Nevertheless, a lot of people think his first video might have been legit. He's Paul Freeman on steroids with 90% less conscience.

  8. Hmmm? Why is it that these bigfoot faces look different if they were supposedly taken in the same area ("Sylvanic")? Fake.

    1. Maybe they are not animals like gorilas, but just like people... each other very different...

  9. I had pegged him for a hoaxer before his cheap photoshops. He's a hack writer and he can't come up with anything resembling verisimilitude.
There is no area on any map of Canada that corresponds to the area he speaks of. 'Sylvanic' doesn't exist, and it's a Latin word, with no association with any of the North American Native tongues. Disappointing that he's got more attention from this blog.

  11. Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this blog. It's simple,
yet effective. A lot of times it's very hard to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say you've done a very good job
with this. Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox.
    Excellent Blog!
