Guest Writer: Leroy Blevins on the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot

Leroy Blevins, a well known critic of the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film is my guest writer for this week. Although I disagree on most of the things he writes about, I will give him a free platform to voice his theories and opinion. I asked Mr Blevins about what he thought of the National Geographic Bigfoot documentary above, and this is what he writes:

Well from what I have seen I don't believe in what they show.

You see they made claims like all the rest did and try have all these different people trying to go over the film and add more things to it.

As for me and the research I do. I do all of my own research. I don't have no one else doing my research and I don't send my research out for others to look over.

Let me explain:

They claim no one can walk like the Bigfoot in the film. So I did my own test to see for myself if it can or can not be done. I found it can be done.

They claim no costume maker in the world can make a suit like the one in the film. I did my own test to see if it can be or can't be done. I found it can be done even by a person that never made a suit in his life.

You see I look at things these other researchers over look.Like the film site. As it was told they filmed this Bigfoot out in the open on Friday after noon. Now where was the men working in that location? You see if this was a real Bigfoot in the film then this Bigfoot would not be out in the open in the day time where men was cutting down trees and big trucks going in and out all day long. Plus a male never leaves it's females alone out in the open.

Plus it was told this film was shot in the fall however you don't see no leaves flying around when the wind blows in the film. And you don't see no leaves on the ground. Now this film was shot just 11 days before Halloween. And you know in the fall and around this time of the year there would have been a lot of leaves on the ground and blowing around.

So you see I show things no other researcher shows and I show proof to back up each claim I made. I may use words but, I also use real images to show and to back up the words I tell.

- Leroy Blevins Sr.

  1. His suit is an abortion compared to Patty. If he can't see it he's: a liar, or: crazy. Maybe both. He also has the grammar of a forth grader.

  2. I have always been on the fence about the film until a few years ago when I saw it again after about a decade of not seeing it. The things that bother me the most are these two things-they went looking for BF and found her and BF seems totally unfazed by horses rearing and men rushing around to get closer. So far as the actual creature itself, it's freaking impressive and I am inclined to believe that perhaps these men should have made Planet of the Apes instead, because if it's a hoax, it's totally awe-inspiring even 40 years later.

  3. hahah.."I do not believe what they show" - yes, Mr. Blevins, it was just a National Geographic documentary showing real experts expressing thoughtful opinions for a change!!! Well, some people will never learn...one second of this documentary did provide more valuable infomation than all the garbage Blevins Sr. put forward in recent years..and yes, "I can walk like bigfoot", hahah...yes, Mr. Blevins....and we all know why!!! LOL!!!!!!!!

  4. "And you know in the fall and around this time of the year there would have been a lot of leaves on the ground and blowing around."

Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, I can safely call bullsh*t on this. These are evergreen forests, Mr. Blevins. All fall means is more fog and rain. You don't get carpets of leaves.

  5. Blevins is delusional and is an attention seeker. His ineptness with basic grammar combined with his extreme arrogance are an entertaining dichotomy to observe. I keep coming back for more Blevins because it is hilarious. I wish he would get his own tv show. He would be funnier than Tosh.

  6. Leroy Bevins actually fowarded me the frame with Bob Gimlin hiding in the bushes. It is Gimlin. I also recently discovered another face in the film. Please look just to the right of the creature's left cheek (right side of frame-look just past the cheek area.

In one of the frames (shown twice) is the silhouette of a man's nose, unmiling lips, and chin. I cannot tell if it is actually in the "mask" or if the person is beyond the creature also in the bushes. You have to watch the frames carefully for a few seconds to accustom your eyes to the flashing---but you will see that there is indeed a man's face in the frame.

  7. Just in case I was misunderstood---go to this link:

    http://www.bigfootencounters.com/images/facial_profile.htm

Then look to the top rapidly progressing photos of the facial profile of the creature. Look intently just to the right of the left cheek of the creature (which is the right side of the face cheek area). A man's face appears--you do not see his eyes---you see the nose, mouth and chin. I actually believe he may be wearing the creature mask---the head is very big, so it is not a conventional mask.

Please look closely--I have shown this to several people now and they do see it---just can't tell if the person is in the background or actually within the suit itself.

  8. My aologies for the two corrections-- I worded the second post incorrectly. I want you to look in the correct area. Go to the link---then look just to the right of the creature's left cheek (which is the right side of the picture). You will see the silhouette there.

    Thanks
