Matt Moneymaker Wants YOU To Find Bigfoot For Him, Finding Bigfoot Season 2 Confirmed!

Looks like Matt Moneymaker and his crew may have signed onto another season of Animal Planet's Finding Bigfoot series. Mr. Moneymaker at 12:30am, Friday morning posted the following tweet on Twitter:

We wonder if Matt was the person who posted this on Michigan's Craiglists the other day (the original posting was removed, but we saved the screenshot):

    So I'm watching the "Alaska Bigfoot Island" episode. A few frames right before they look at a foot print that appears to be filling with water in the bog, an animal runs out in front of them. Its kind of hard to see because of the night vision but it runs directly away from them. At first I thought it was a camera man but it was running way to fast. Its just as they pan to the left of a shrub, about 50 feet in front of them somehting runs into the tree line. Am I imagining this? Check the footage and email me at bill.sheley@gmail.com.     Matt Moneymaker: The pompous leader of the group, who has been hunting sasquatch for 25 years. An acknowledged and self-proclaimed expert on not finding bigfeets, Moneymaker never misses an opportunity on the show to brag of his many credentials, such as being “the first person who introduced sound blasting and howling as a technique for locating bigfoots,” or being “the first to formally describe the knock sounds made by bigfoots”. These of course are contested by other bigfoot researchers, who insist THEY were the first to come to the same ridiculous conclusions or make use of the same pointless techniques. More power to ‘em, says I.

    And may I just say, “Moneymaker” is a moniker that is rather better suited to a World Series of Poker winner than someone who has devoted their life to the study of not finding bigfoot.

Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
