BFRO Member's Warning Message To Elbe Trackway Hoaxer

He has conducted field research in many different places across North America.Last September, 150-plus footprints found in WA, the Elbe trackway, which initially thought to be legit based on early reports, was found to be a hoax by BFRO investigators. Matt Moneymaker stated on Twitter that the hoaxer was identified, and the perpetrator is the same skeptic who's also building a Patterson Bigfoot statue to show how 'easy' it would be to fake. Investigators decided to let him off the hook after he agreed to cooperate with investigators on how he faked the tracks. This is the latest update on the Elbe trackway.
The Truth About the Elbe Tracks
Folks,
I'd like to address the "tracks" reported to Cliff Barackman and the BFRO near Elbe, WA. If you're not already familiar with the background information on the purported sasquatch tracks reportedly found near Elbe, WA, please read here: www.northamericanbigfoot.com
As of this writing, I have afforded the individual involved (a frequent poster on the Bigfoot Forums whose screen name is "Tontar") a lengthy period of time (five months) to do the right thing, and fully disclose his involvement with the event.
That hasn't happened yet.
Moreover, the individual involved has continued to insist (privately) that he had absolutely no involvement with the event in question. His denial of involvement has driven many people to question my initial statements and assertions.
Initially, I granted the person involved a chance to admit his involvement privately to the people who were the most affected by his actions; the people who invested personal time and resources to his claims. The guilty party never did so, and still continues to insinuate that I had no real evidence against him.
Here's the deal, folks: The first report regarding the track line was submitted in email form to Cliff Barackman, which was forwarded to the BFRO six hours later by the same source.

DeleteA very easy way to confirm Matt's claims would be to allow the Forum moderators to confim the IP address history of where Tontar has logged in from. That would clear it up immediately. If the IP address posted in the screen shots on Matt's blog (71.xxx.xxx.xxx) matches what the forum moderators claim Tontar logged in from it is game over and proves that you were involved without a shadow of a doubt.

The staff of The Bigfoot Forums takes a stand for integrity every day according to our rules and guidelines. We do not have a responsibility to police our membership because we don't know if they're posting in bad faith with untrue material. First, how on Earth do you expect our forum staff to police thousands of members while they have jobs, family obligations and other real life things that take precedence in their lives? How are we supposed to know if someone is posting in bad faith? We can't - and wont - attempt to determine someone's intentions. the truthfulness of any material they present or their motives. Nobody can know everything about the claims made by our membership. Everyone is allowed to post their content as long as they abide by our rules and guidelines. The forum staff's responsibility if to enforce those rules, not screen posts for accuracy or truthfulness. To expect us to do so is completely unreasonable.

You have assumed that everyone feels as you do, although others may feel differently or may still be undecided about certain events. How are we to determine if a member is sowing confusion and discord? And we certainly cannot determine if someone is attempting to interfere with research efforts. Bigfoot is based on hoaxes including the Patterson Gimlin film so why get into such a dither over this one. The believers have been strung along by Melba Ketchum for five years and by Rick Dyer at least three times. This is what bigfooting is; one giant hoax.
