Bigfoot Evidence blog wishes everyone a safe and Happy New Year! While we're counting down towards the new year, here's a hilarious video from University of Minnesota Hospital, courtesy of FedEx .

Justin and Ro are convinced they've found a cave where Bigfoot has taken shelter, but Dax and Rictor have their own unorthodox method of drawing out the beast. Is it a trap?

From the internet (please let me know if you know who the author is) My best friend, John, built a homestead in north central Ontario, Canada, on the western edge of Algonquin Provincial Park. The nearest town was Huntsville, which was about 80 miles away. The land on his property had thickly wooded, rolling hills, a creek and a sizeable beaver pond. Deer and black bear were in abundance. I worked with my friend one summer to help finish his house, putting up siding, shingling the roof and digging a cellar for his pump house.

Besides it being a bit blurry, this is probably one of the best footage we've seen in a while. Judging from just a few frames of the creature sprinting off, it's very easy to see that this is not a person or some kind of four-legged animal. The dark figure can clearly be seen tree-peeking and running away from the people floating downstream. Unfortunately, this footage didn't make the cut. According to Keith Hoffman, Executive Producer of Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot", though it's a good footage, there's just "not enough there".

We're counting down 2013's best Real Bigfoot Encounters, narrated by Rev. Jeff. This story is about a squirrel hunter's encounter with a Bigfoot picking berries. This excerpt should be enough to convince to watch it: "Then the creature made its move – its large hairy right hand came up, and swiped at a red berried shrub right in front of it. It moved the hand to its mouth and casually chewed. It repeated these motions- glancing down to the shrub, swiping up berries and eating, then glancing back up to me. The arm motion was very fluid and un-human like, no jerking motions, very deft flowing movement. The left hand remained at the creature’s side. It was not picking berries like a person would, it was raking them up. Also, during the entire encounter I never heard any vocalizations or smelled any odors." - Witness

Here is the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization's round table discussion part four: "We have out  Round Table 4. We discuss the 8-10-13 Bear Wallow expedition we uploaded last week, Then the 2nd half we talk about the 8-24-13 Yellowstone Canyon expedition. This is the expedition that we find all the hair we have sent in for analysis and was also the weekend Jenny and Kelly back pack camp in a tent not to far from where we found the two large tufts of hair and where we casted the 15 inch foot print. Join Darkness Radio Dave as he hosts Coast to Coast AM tonight! Hours 2-4: Ro Sahebi, creator of the film Dead Bigfoot: A True Story, which chronicles the story of a pair of hunters who claim to have shot two Bigfoot in October of 2010. He will be joined by Justin Smeja, one of the hunters featured in the film.

The video was filmed in Nassau NY back in March 29, 2009 and posted on YouTube by user catchingcadence. There are a number of "redflags" with this footage. Animal Planet just released their reasons why they decided not to investigate it. Keith Hoffman, Executive Producer of Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot" says if they're acting, they did a good job, but why were they filming each other having a beer and smoking in the first place?

Jeff. This incredible report by a salmon surveyor for the Dept of Fish and Wildlife in Raymond, WA was submitted to the BFRO on June 28, 2011. The witness and her partner reported the incident to higher-ups explaining how they came upon an unexplained, steaming, freshly mangled remains of a deer. If you're the "#looneytoons approved" guy, please don't comment on this post. This is serious stuff and we can't have people diluting the conversation with nonsensical hashtags. For those truly interested, check out this friendly method of leaving gifts and odd items out for the "big fellow". The people in this video are using tires and creepy dolls on branches, and it seems to have worked. They managed to capture some rock clacking and a shadow that walked in front of the camera. Pretty cool stuff -- if it's legit.

If you've never heard of them, sifakas, like Bigfoot, are bipedal primates -- except these little guys move by side-hopping. Incredibly fun to watch:

What's more effective then wood-knocking and call-blasting? Being kind and generous, of course. That's how these Bigfoot researchers played the game, and they managed to get close enough that they had some minor interactions with the Bigfoots. According to M.K. Davis, the people at this hotspot eventually got "good video of the big fellows". Watch how they did it:

We're counting down 2013's best Real Bigfoot Encounters, narrated by Rev. Jeff. This BFRO report is one of our favorites and it seems to be very popular with our viewers on YouTube. It's one of those close encounters where the Bigfoot actually tries to make contact with the witness. The witness had a gun with him at the time and shot a couple of rounds to scare off the creature -- he's lucky to be alive.

Not much is know about this photograph, but the Bigfoot community already has some enhancements leading some to believe that there are actually two Bigfoots in this photograph. Kris F. claims this photograph came from a "friend's buddy snapped" in Manitoba, Canada. Though this was originally posted in the BFRO Facebook group, no detail about the encounter was given. Suzy Matiash of the Facebook group, Bigfoot Community , is currently digging deep, trying get the complete back story to this. Here are some enhancements by April P. who wrote:

In late January, 2012, our friend Damian Bravo was contacted by a member of his group page on Facebook, about an amazing account of an event that occurred in the early 90’s, somewhere in the Midwest of the United States. For reasons of protection of the species, the disclosure of the location of the event is being kept confidential, until the species is recognized and protected. For Russian scientist Dr. Igor Burtsev, an expert in the Abominable Snowman, 2013 has been an impressive year. Numerous evidence of the Yeti has surfaced this year near Siberia, including a video of a possible Bigfoot  carrying a baby . This year, Burtsev has been actively involved with some major scientific studies, including the Ketchum DNA study, and the controversial Yeti episode of Bigfoot Files that aired in November. Just as 2013 is coming to a close, earlier today, Burtsev reported on some amazing evidence coming from the Kazakhstan region. He posted this statement claiming he had just obtained evidence of gigantic footprints, and  even has audio that's "amazing". He explains the photograph and the audio in the Facebook group, Bigfoot Community :

The Huffington Post just wrapped up their Bigfoot coverage for 2013, and their top two Bigfoot videos picks are all videos from an iPhone App maker named Legend Tracker . Their #1 video pick was supposedly taken by someone who was part of a large group of Chinese tourists apparently out looking for Bigfoot in Mission, British Columbia. Typically, Bigfoots are shy, but this one was posing for the tourists. Check it out:

This account of a Bigfoot shot to death and buried in an Indian reservation was posted 4 years ago in " David Icke's Official Forums ". The person who wrote it claims everything in it is real, including the location of where they buried the Bigfoot (somewhere in western Montana). "The men who did this feel incredibly guilty. Sasquatch is a matter of fact here, and the older generations told us to avoid them and leave them alone because they are human beings. They are not animals and they are not magic," the poster wrote.

Many accounts of Bigfoots manipulate their EMF (electromagnetic field) to zap animals is well-known among Bigfoot researchers. All animals have an EMF that they give off and the theory is that some animals can give off high EMF -- if they know how to use it. During an encounter with Bigfoot, some researchers have reportedly experienced a sort of calmness where everything goes quiet in the woods causing animals to panic. Some researchers say the feeling of being "zapped" becomes so overwhelming that it causes them to be "disoriented".
