Ro Sahebi’s Full Interview With "JavaBob" About The Bigfoot DNA Study
Editor’s Note: This is a post by Bigfoot Evidence contributor, Damian Bravo, a Sasquatch believer. You can join Damian's group Sasquatch Lives? on Facebook and the group's official page at www.sasquatchlives.com.
Here is what we promised-- the full interview with Java Bob. The reason behind his decision to make this interview is to bring to light and defend Richard Stubstad’s rights to be recognized for his contributions to Melba Ketchum’s Bigfoot DNA study. Unfortunately, as this article is being written, Mr. Stubstad is lying in his death bed and is not expected to live more than two weeks once this interview is released.
Java Bob talks about the casted footprints and the effects on his credibility due to the Biscardi hoax. He then goes on to discuss Richard Stubstad, how the relationship with Melba Ketchum fell apart, the anomalies in the mitochondrial DNA samples, the peer review and mentions Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Adrian Erickson and others.
In the conversation he implies that the DNA results will actually confirm and prove the existence of Sasquatch.
If Ro Sahebi is fortunate enough to interview (if it’s even possible) Richard Stubstad, his words could bring more information to this amazing turn of events. Ro is working diligently to bring us more information on the players originally involved in the current DNA study.

"till there's a corpse or we've got one in a cage"??? Good god man, are you saying we should kill one of these magnificent creatures? I sure hope so, because that would mean absolute proof, which is something we'll never get from Ketchum.
ReplyDeleteReally? DNA is indisputable
DeleteNot if you can't prove where the DNA came from.
DeleteThat's not true.
DeleteIt's absolute proof that an unknown species exists.
Chad W
Blind faither
DeleteDNA will not prove this species any one who believes it will is delusional and has no scientific legs to stand on, Lisa go ask a PHD in biology or any in the physical sciences educate your self, don't take the word of a Vet who is dealing with things WAY above her pay grade.
DeleteWe do not have a denisova body, yet DNA evidence from a mere pinky bone proved their existence.
DeleteAnd the Bigfoot pinky bone is...where?
DeleteExactly. Unless Ketchum can demonstrate a chain of custody for the samples she used for her analysis, it's useless.
DeleteDo hair samples equal a pinky bone?
DeleteWould one body do any more than prove one body exists?DNA is the reliable way to prove a whole hidden species: over many samples, over many regions, without commiting slaughter. Een one body seems too precious to me, given what I know of Bfs.
DeleteHopefully, those DNA results will put real Anthropologists in the field and even the funding to accomplish meaningful study without killing.
How 19th century, the idea of requiring a body of this amazingly hidden, smart, and so like us, shared inhabitant of our land, to put on display as "proof!"
Do we really need a stuffed Sasquatch? No, there is no need for groups like MBRC or TBRC (and a host of others), especially as self-appointed amatuer discoverer's, to bag a Bigfoot body. I can wait for science and it's slow pace.
Perfect, apehuman! "how 19th century" really sums it up!!! A corpse won't help us understand this enigmatic species any better than DNA. In fact, a great deal of what a corpse could tell us about them would come from DNA extracted from that corpse. The physiology can be studied without killing one... but that will require patience. Something that is lacking in the general public, obviously.

The church of Bigfoot has been preaching the positive existence of BF for a long time. Their whining and activist type behavior has reached a feverish pitch. It's time to put up, or shut up. Bag'im, tag'im and throw him on a slab or crawl back into the Bigfoot fantasy world they came from. I'd like to see these things proven to exist as much as anyone, but the bleebers are making me think that will never happen.
Delete@12:49 Anon- I'm as skeptical as the next guy (especially where people's motives are concerned), but I stand by my above statements. If you don't believe me, interview a wildlife biologist and ask how many times they made a discovery with a rifle! Call me crazy, but I think science has progressed past that...
DeletePS- if someone told me they had a body... I wouldn't be gullible enough to believe them until the science was done... or not (Rick Dyer). So, we'd be right where we are now, only MORE tissue.

@Apehuman
DeleteThen why don't you close your account over at the MABRC and take a Hike!
Hahaa!! you go Ed. He's just a Johnny come lately, he don't know no better.
DeleteLOL Ed nice catch (not so nice command), I didn't realize I had an account on the MABRC forum, but it is believable b/c I do recall vising the forum several times last year reading your musings about samples you were having tested.
DeleteI recently read on Crypto that MABRC has adopted a "whatever a member thinks" policy wrt to killing, except when with those that don't and then they are to hang back. So, it sounds like MABRC does tolerate members who feel as I do.
One more time, name one LIVING species that has been cataloged on the basis of DNA only. You need a type specimen. End of discussion. The paper will NEVER be accepted by the scientific community without a type specimen. Dragging up the tired Denisovan argument is false logic. That is an EXTINCT species. There are no type specimens for EXTINCT species. For a LIVING species to be cataloged, you need more than pictures, footprints, piles of sticks, Samurai chatter, or DNA. You need a body. No body, no species. Ask Dr. Meldrum his opinion, since he is held in such high regard. He will confirm that he is unaware of any new LIVING species that has been cataloged on DNA alone.
DeleteThink how many species have we identified without CAPTURING OR KILLING THEM!!! Type specimine can be living, free-roaming and unharmed. It takes patience, know-how and a heap of hard work... Shooting an unidentified/unlisted species is not only against the law, but is not necessary in this day and age of scientific method.
DeleteYes, a type specimine is needed, but need not be killed or captured... observation and data/sample collection are very different than a necropsy. What does a cadaver tell you about how a species lives and acts that you can't tell by tracks, scat study and unobtrusive observation?
Modern study of animals is done in the LEAST INVASIVE WAY POSSIBLE. BF should be afforded, at least, the same concideration.

Ed the 'Ead returns with more delusional grandour. DNA is proof and DNA is a body, especially if you have a piece of it, which seems to be the case here. That is evidence and that is proof, no two ways about it. You can't fake this, this is science and it would seem disbelief is now becoming science to some. Nevertheless, proven it shall be via this method and if that happens then live Sasquatches are out there. Thriving and doing fine. Many of us never doubted that anyway, it only means what it's always meant that bodies can turn up if a species is alive.
DeleteThis is all a perfect example of Bigfoot bleebers eating their own. It's what I've come to expect.
DeleteI want to offer my sincere best hopes and wishes to Richard Stubstad and his family.
ReplyDeleteWhatever reasons may exist for a "falling out" with whatever ongoing DNA study that may be taking place are overshadowed and completely trumped by the news of Richard's condition.
Without a doubt, an actual living or dead specimen is the card that will put the question at hand to rest. That goes without saying.
While I and others find it hard to listen to "javabob" and place any great measure of credibility in much of what he says. I will choose to remain open minded. Especially since he throws the card of Richard Stubstad's health into the mix.
Well said Bamburg.
DeleteNo Shadow
I agree with John. The key is an open mind and the 19th century reference by ApeHuman is so appropriate.
DeleteThere is so much in this world we do not know one must keep and open mind.
My thoughts and sincere prayers to Richard and his family.
Outstanding interview, Ro! Very much appreciated your production sensibilities in segmenting it into meaty chunks.
ReplyDeleteMy best hopes and wishes to Richard Stubstad and his family

Yo,Ro- I have really enjoyed your work. Thanks for breathing life into the subject!
ReplyDeleteYo,Ro- I have really enjoyed your work. Thanks for breathing life into the subject!
ReplyDeleteAfter listening to the entire interview, it seems pretty obvoius that we have two engineers and a vet all completely misunderstanding DNA sequencing. Which is not surprising, considering that they aren't geneticists.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Ketchum thought they were nephilim?? And people are honestly taking her seriously? Yikes...
One of the things that concerns me is the reference to "Nephilim". Although that usually has a religious connotation with it or meaning there are also MANY Giants referred to through-out the history of the world.
DeleteDale Drinnon has excellent information on them at
http://frontiers-of-anthropology.blogspot.com/search/label/Giants
just scroll down the page and there are listed numerous references also one can click on to inform oneself. I do believe Bigfoot/Sasquatch could be descendants of giants not in the sense of "Nephilim" but in the sense of "Giants".
He's got more information here at the following link and it would be well worth your time to check these links out.

I realize the problem some of the critics will have is that they will never take the time to go to these sites and read because that requires effort and comprehension!
1. Damian you managed to make the slow-mo podcast venue pleasent! Your good looks and approrpiate even manner was an encouraging contrast to say, Fasano in a car driving angry. . .
ReplyDelete2. To Richard, my sincerest sympathy. Thank you for providing an open and encouraging approach to another DNA study, which I am glad to hear is moving forward. Hoping the April 5 prediciton for publishing Melba Ketchum's is true...I want your opinion!
3. Bob, I hope to see that BF you are holding a cast of this Spring....point me in the right direction?
4. Dr. Ketchum, perhaps this is a case where compassion is in order, what an amazing gift you could give by picking up the phone and calling Richard now.
5. hawn.. I saw the end of your podcast..noticed you the only one without a hat inside! Kudos..!
Java Bob is like the father most of us never had.
ReplyDeleteAnon-10:39AM
DeleteYou and this consistent "Father" post is idiotic.
I understand and feel so bad for Richard, but I keep coming back to not being able to really trust Java Bob. If he would simply come clean with what happened with the Bigfoot body, the attempted cover-up, the whole "held at gunpoint" sham ... if he'd just SAY what Biscardi is like, I think he'd get a whole new fan-base and people willing to listen to him. It's so odd, I hear him talk and WANT to like him ... but I'm still stinging from 2008 and the total lack of apology and "manning-up" from anybody connected to Biscardi.
ReplyDeleteOK, I AM GREATLY SADDEN TO HEAR OF RICHARD'S CONDITION.
ReplyDeleteI ONCE THOUGHT VERY HIGHLY OF THE MAN, AND I DID IN THE FALL AGAIN DECIDE TO AT LEAST BE CIVIL AND SPEAK TO THE MAN. I PROMISED HIM THAT I WOULD FORGIVE BOB, FOR WHAT I FELT HE HAD DONE. I EXPLAINED IN DETAIL TO RICHARD WHAT THAT WAS~~~RICHARD DIDN'T DENY IT.
THE REASON'S THEY HAD FOR DOING IT? WELL I ALWAYS ASSUMED THAT WAS BECAUSE THEY BOTH FELT HARMED BY TOM BISCARDI, BUT THAT COULDN'T BE THE REASON BECAUSE THEY ARE ALLEGEDLY AGAIN WORKING WITH TOM...
NOW AS TO BOB DOING THIS TO MELBA BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE LISTED AND CREDITED... THAT'S NOT THE WAY TO GO ABOUT IT.... LARRY AND I UNDERSTAND WHAT HELP THEY WERE IN THE BEGINNING, BEFORE THEY GOT GREEDY... WE'VE HAVE ALREADY SPOKE TO EACH OTHER ABOUT APPROACHING DR KETCHUM, WITH AT LEAST ADDING THE TO THE AZCRO AND TOENAIL INVESTIGATION AREA. I WAS GOING TO DO THAT TOO... INSTEAD OF REACHING OUT TO ME WITH THAT BUTTON THAT I KEEP TELLING PEOPLE TO USE... THEY DECIDED TO DO THE DIRTY TO MELBA~~~AGAIN...
IT'S A SHAME THIS IS THE AVENUE THAT BOB CHOOSE TO GO, BUT IT'S TYPICAL OF WHERE HE COMES FROM!
I WAS TRUTHFULLY SO HOPING THAT THIS WOLD ALL COME OUT BEFORE RICHARD PASSED, MY HEART BLEEDS FOR HIM STILL. WORDS ARE ONE THING AND THE FACTS ARE THE FACTS, BUT I WOULD NEVER WANT ANYTHING TRULY BAD TO HAPPEN TO EITHER OF THESE MEN.
RICHARD I WILL SPEND EVERY MOMENT THINKING OF YOU FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS OR WEEK, THAT IS FOR SURE!
I wonder if Richard knows this is happening? I can understand if he is dying and wants this told.
DeleteIt is an injustice, if true but there are two sides to every story.
However, greed or not, I firmly believe everyone who has participated in this study,in any way, should receive their credit due.
So sad that this discord has happened...
Richard know about this and is participating. I will be with him this week documenting him
DeleteThanks so much.
DeleteALEX HEARN, DO YOU THINK CAPITAL LETTERS MAKES YOU MORE BELIEVABLE?
DeleteSick post.
To all concerned about Richard... I spoke with him today and he is in good spirits. We are going to spend some time together next week and I will keep everyone posted.
