A source said Akeem told policemen that an unidentified number called him that his daughter fell into a lagoon. The source said, “The police tracked the number, and discovered that the caller was in Ibadan. He was arrested and brought down to Lagos around 1am on Saturday.”
The suspect was said to have led the police to the two uncompleted buildings where the remains of the late Sherifat were recovered. Shakiru said,“After we separated, I secretly reconciled with her and we started meeting. On the average, I gave her N15,000 in a week. On that Monday, she called me that she needed money and we agreed to meet.

DeleteSimon Peter Nelson wasn't too far out of the ordinary. Just an average man, living life with six children, a wife, a cat and a dog. The family lived in Rockford, Illinois.
At some point, Simon's marriage went down the drain. His wife Ann Nelson, had left him. She was staying in a motel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Little did she know, Simon had been stalking her.
On January 6th 1978, Simon decided he was going to get his wife to come back home. He went to the motel and went to her room. He asked her to come back home to him and their children. When she refused, he violently beat her, stopping only when the police arrived. He was then arrested for aggravated battery.
During questioning, Simon told the police that he'd already murdered his six children at home in Rockford. The police didn't take him seriously initially, thinking it was a ruse to upset his wife.
Police went to the home and found all six kids- Jennifer, 12; Simon, 10; Andrew, 9; Matthew, 8; Roseann, 5 and David, 3 were found dead in their beds. Nelson had beaten each with a rubber mallet over the head, then stabbed each with a hunting knife. Simon told police he did it to get back at his wife. Officers also said the family dog was so badly mutilated that they thought it was just a chunk of flesh from one of the bodies.

A violent murder occurred in the city of Medan in Indonesia on the fifteenth of January, 2017. A 32 year old woman, who was identified as Pretty Juliana stabbed her two year old son to death with a kitchen knife.

One from my hometown. There's a large ranch property out in the boonies owned by what we call a "weekend cowboy" - a guy who lives in the city, but dabbles in ranching a few times a month. Well-to-do enough to pay for ranch hands to care for the property in their absence.
ReplyDeleteOne weekend, the wife shows up alone, unexpectedly. The ranch hand sees her car, but goes ahead feeding and checking the fence line before heading to the big house to ask after the missus and see if she needed anything before he took off.
He rings the bell to no answer, so he decides to knock and when he does, the front door swings wide. He steps in to call out to her, but gets no answer. He hears water running, assumes she in the shower, so he leaves.
A few hours pass and he is called in for questioning. Turns out, the missus is dead. Judging by the questions asked, he learns the following: she was found nude in the bathroom, tub running over; any clothing she had worn to the house was no longer present, nor were her keys or purse; her bedroom had been seemingly searched; and her car had been moved from the time he'd first seen it - it was hidden behind the house and could not be seen from the road. He was shocked to learn this, was polygraphed and let loose.
That story never made the paper in his tiny town. The death was ruled natural causes, despite evidence that another party was involved.
Instead of looking for a skunk ape with listening devices, they should be trying to kill one with a high powered gun.
