This Is What Lettuce Lake Looks Like Right Now

Florida skunkape researcher Tim Fasano is currently on a mission to track down the skunkape that was filmed this week by a canoer. Fasano shows us what the place looks like near the bank. It's pretty squatchy!
Footage sent to Bigfoot Evidence of a possible skunkape from earlier this week:

DeleteYou all are deluded!
ReplyDeleteRobert "The Duchess" Lindsay says that when he break dances, he often develops lock jaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deleteand at the exact time another canoer comes along and films Fasano , goes home and screams "Ah ha ! I have seen the skunk ape again ! Wait til I send this video to bigfoot evidence !"
ReplyDeleteDamn!!! How did you figure us out?

DeleteTim - Thanks for going out there. That's very cool of you to do. Did you ask them for some coordinates of the location of the sighting? Did you see any signs of the "hundreds of 12 foot gators and water moccasins" or is that just a given for this area?
ReplyDeleteTim, you are clearly very familiar with this area and your research speaks for itself. Do you think the video is legitimate or a simple misidentification? Hoax? What are your thoughts?
ReplyDeleteHis thoughts? Muddled for the most part.
DeleteLol! Have you met the guy? Couldn't find a Skunk Ape if he fell into a small tub full of skunk apes.....
DeleteAll good questions Tim. I am curious about your thoughts also. When doing a google earth satellite it is quite easy to see how this is prime skunk ape area as this park borders on many thousands of acres of swampland. I appreciate the video giving us an idea of what this looks like at ground level.

So, Fasano, who is a known hoaxer, suddenly becomes this sites pin up boy. Its funny how all these new bigfoot videos show up in the backyard of known hoaxers, like Fasano. Must just be coincidence.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that was to harsh, Sorry about that Timbo. Fasano isnt a hoaxer so to speak, i guess the appropriate word would be a bigfoot sensationalist. A known bigfoot sensationalist, who likes to take little things and exagerate them exponentially to draw in interest.
DeleteDoesn't everyone who has a passion for something do that? If I love a certain football team or basketball team I will convince everyone about how great they are or how the officials clearly cheated, etc. No difference here. Fasano loves searching for the elusive, legendary skunk ape. This is his passion so he clearly chooses words that express his passion for the subject.
DeleteNo. He loves attention. Sasquatch is the vehicle to get it. If he was a 8 year old schoolgirl he'd be pulling his dress over his head during recess.
DeleteI think a lot of people here take things a little too seriously. Squatchin' is fun. It's adventurous. Who knows, maybe someone is gonna actually find something solid. All of the haters need to back off.
ReplyDeletehaters gonna hate,hate,hate ,hate
Deleteus squatchers are gonna squatch, squatch, squatch
i'm sittin' on top of a giant pumpkin' patch jus' waitin' for the good 'ol skunk ape to come by for dinner
They need to get some tracking dogs in there and track this skunk ape down and blast it with a shotgun.
ReplyDeleteT-FATS just wants to be infamous. The only thing he ever succeeded at
ReplyDeleteThought I'd point out that it took 3 years for the entire animal control and fish and wildlife teams to find a primate in a residential area in Tampa. Not hard to believe this primate could remain hidden in the thick swamp indefinitely.

Yeah, I agree. In July of 2011 I visited Washington state for the first time and stayed for a week near Mt. Ranier. Until you actually go there, it's hard to really see how vast the forests of the Pacific Northwest are. I spent a day at Gifford Pinchot National Forest. That forest is so dense that there places that people don't go to (and perhaps some areas were people have never been to). After being there, I have no doubt that an extremely shy and intelligent animal could live there largely undetected.
