Add Dan Baker As Friend On Facebook If You Want One Of These Sculptures
Our friend Dan Baker, a very talented artist, just posted a photo of a sculpture of an albino female Sasquatch named "Cotton" he's been working. One important thing that's missing from the sculpture is her baby "Skookum", which he will be adding very soon. According to Dan, the project will take another 6 weeks to complete. "It's a very slow and tedious process once you start to put the hair on because I individually cut, roll, and place each hair on it," he said.
If you want these sculptures for your living room, the original sculptures are generally around $200 (which is a damn good deal). Resin copies (made from the original) ranges anywhere from $65 to $70. The particular sculpture in the photo above will cost around $400, due to its size and detail.
If you have questions, you can friend Dan Baker on Facebook and ask him yourself: www.facebook.com/danzcraft.
Here's a finished sculpture named "Brutus" The Ohio Grassman:
Cool, since I'll never see a real Bigfoot, I can have the next best thing...a Bigfoot sculpture.
ReplyDeleteThat one on the top is hideous. If that's a rendition of a real female no wonder their numbers are so low, I wouldn't mate with it either....lol
ReplyDeleteIts Moneymakers sex toy!
DeleteI always have an appreciation for art and I like these.
ReplyDeleteI sculpt and paint for a living. Museum dinosaur life restorations. Some life sized pieces and many scale model displays. My advice for achieving the best results would be to study human and zoological anatomy. Photo reference can also be useful. Talking to other skilled sculptors is a great way to learn tips you may not generally find available. Keep up the great effort!
