Update: Looks like SyFy is working a show called Bigfoot that's slated for 2012. The Bigfoot show was listed among other fall line ups on the network. The show's description reads:
Bigfoot – 2012 -- 1970’s pop culture icons Danny Bonaduce (The Partridge Family) and Barry Williams (The Brady Bunch) face off in the hunt for the legendary mountain creature. A production of The Asylum. [tvovermind.zap2it.com]

Bigfooting is becoming a popular pastime for celebrities these days. A few days ago, we heard reports of a former world heavyweight champion who's leading an expedition to find the 'Russian Yeti'.

A reader sent this tweet to us today from Chris Jericho, a Canadian-American professional wrestler who wrestled for WWF/E, WCW, ECW and countless others. On August 7th, Chris posted this tweet about going Bigfoot hunting. He didn't give any specifics about where he was going or who was leading the expedition. As far as we know, there's no word on how the expedition went.

The WWE's Friday Night SmackDown was moved to the SyFy channel since last October. Perhaps the the "Imagine Greater" network is doing some kind of promo for a new Bigfoot TV show. With how popular Bigfoot shows are becoming lately, this is a possibility.

Chris Jericho is also the host of the ABC game show Downfall and the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Fozzy.

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots.
