Mountain Beast Mysteries takes a look at the famous IMAX bigfoot creature footage. The clip has been long debated with no apparent answer for what was captured on film.
BREAKING: Finding Bigfoot Production Company Seeks Filming Permit In Virginia
Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. We'll keep you updated on any further announcements for sure.
At first look I say man with a backpack. At second, third and fourth look, I don't know. Just weird.

If you view the footage again and not just the subject in the creek. Look up on the hill and you will see two dark figures on the rocks. Possibly a herding technique. Choke point and team work.

This was debunked long ago. It was a member of the film crew riding a mountain biking to startle/herd the animals for the film. This was an illegal thing to do. Although it was ostensibly the animals running naturally, this was not the case. They were made to run by a guy on a bike.

DeleteSeems pretty clear it is the behavior of an animal staking it's prey by closely following hoping that one of the animals get separated from the herd so it could pounce on it. anyone who watches nature videos will have seen this over and over again. i wish the cameraman would have continued shooting because i would have loved to seen how it ended but he had no clue that creature was even there

Well of course the director/cameraman is going to say it wasn't a person on a bike because it would be paramount to admitting he put someone in danger by spooking the herd and in addition might have to answer some questions about putting the animals in stress by doing so. Because of sloppy editing you can still see the top of the rider's head although they thought they had edited everything out. Don't you wonder why that scene was cut off abruptly so you can't see any more? Because it was wasn't suppose to be seen in the first place and that short shot just got by him. He's just protecting himself from any criticism by playing along. But the biggest reason to believe it wasn't a Bigfoot is that ThinkerThunker believes it is and he's always wrong.

but mark my words mate, bigfoot will be proven in our lifetime. the problem is you have a bunch of uneducated fools running around in the woods making tons of noise hoping to find one or spending only a few nights in the woods with a ton of camera and lighting crew. It's about the same as loud sirens telling the creature we are here to catch you. We are dealing with very smart creatures that can survive deep in the woods where few humans have ever been let alone want to be so a very calculated ,scientific approach is needed or one will be found by complete accident which is how many sightings have occurred .
Deletein the 70s- just a few years ago the methods were largely amateur but now they have become much more sophisticated and the even bigger question is even if you are in the woods for weeks upon weeks doesn't mean you will even be within a few miles of one. Do you know how much are forests cover ? They are HUGE !

i have no doubt it's a baby bigfoot and not a bloody backpack. i do admit that the motion does resemble someone on a bike but it's more the nature fluid motion of the creature that gives it that appearance and it makes a sudden stop that would be difficult on any bike .

i'm going to try and get my hands on a high res version of this movie preferably on bluray to examine it closer. Problem with youtube is that any video isn't the greatest . i still say it's a bigfoot with baby on back and i shall stand by that til i am proved wrong with my own eyes
