The Sasquatch Hybrid

MattSquatch presents the Sasquatch Hybrid. Where does bigfoot come from, and what is it exactly? There are lots of ideas and theories out there floating around.

  1. This is old news.

The Patterson/Gimlin hoax was already established to be part Morris costume and part alterations that Patterson did to the costume. Patterson also added padding to fill out areas so that costume wearer Bob Hieronimus could better pull off a bigfoot character.

So, the Patterson/Gimlin costume was a hybrid.

On the 6th of February this year, you were destroyed about Morris.

      Short memory.

    3. Philip Morris ignores the skeptics.

"You're interfering with their belief system," he said, with his wide grin. "It's like telling a child there's no Santa Claus."

Morris Costumes was one of the few companies making relatively inexpensive gorilla suits. The suits were in demand because of the popular carnival trick in which a woman morphed into a crazed gorilla and sent patrons screaming from fair tents. Patterson paid $435 plus shipping and handling for the suit.

    4. Morris had to hire a gorilla costume maker to make something that looked nothing like Patty. Why would the greatest SFX expert in 150 years need to do that?

There is nobody left who pushes this embarrassment anymore. Except Stuey, with his hand in his shorts, giggling at his desktop. Yuck! The source goes on to read...

“BTW, the reason Roger Knights and I called it a “tale of two suits” is because besides the alleged Morris gorilla suit that was supposedly used for the Bigfoot in the Patterson-Gimlin footage, a sewn horse hide skin was said to be used. That both sources for the costume was in Greg Long’s book without a proofreader catching that caused confusion in the logical of the claims. Knights’ wrote of this thread, thusly:
Bob Heironimus (BH) Wasn’t Queen Kong (the Bigfoot in the 1967 Patterson film)…
…BH’s initial description of the suit that he wore, supposedly made by Patterson, is very different from the suit he later agreed that he wore, supposedly supplied by costume-maker Philip Morris. BH described the suit he thought Patterson had made as having a zipperless upper torso part that BH donned like putting on a T-shirt…. At Bluff Creek he put on “the top”. Asked about the “bottom portion,” he guessed it was cinched with a drawstring. Morris made a unibody-type union suit that zipped up the back and into which one stepped. It had no torso part or top like Patterson’s (supposed) top-and-trousers affair. This difference between them was one he couldn’t possibly have mistaken or forgotten. And there were other differences that would have been hard to miss, such as the pronounced difference in hand-feel between heavy, supple, rubbery horsehide and the light, mesh-fabric-backed Dynel in Morris’s. There might be an innocent explanation for BH’s changing his story to accommodate Long’s Morris-Suit theory–but it’s hard to think of one.
      Plus…
BH was not measured for a custom-fitted suit. And the Morris’s gorilla suit, like all off-the-peg ape-suits, would fit a wearer loosely, even if it had been custom-tailored to the wearer. (E.g., in the movie Harry and the Hendersons, “Harry” has trouser-legs: a pair of uniformly tapering tubes.) Queen Kong, OTOH, has a well-defined body: a butt crack (in the last frames), bulging thunder thighs, mobile kneecap, shapely calf, visible tendons and hamstrings, shoulder blades, realistic biceps, quivering flesh, non-uniform hair color and length, etc., all features missing from Hollywood ape-films.”

      Short memory.

    5. And what type of person would be satisfied with that drivel? Someone with a pathological need for Bigfoot to now exist, someone who has anti-Bigfoot as a fundamental quasi-religion.

Keep praying if away Stuey and then whine like a little girl about my cut & pastes, ha ha ha!!

    6. A man in a costume is not a new species of monster. Don't be ridiculous.

It surprising that people still fall for men in gorilla costume pranks.

Stop crying... Prove it. It’s your pseudoscience, substantiate it.

    8. You are one daft one stu. Have you seen Phillip Morris' weak attempt at recreating the costume years back ? so bloody awful !
Here's an idea stu - you get together with your mates and pool your milk money and then with all your deft skills you try to recreate the PGF using a monkey suit . I'm so sure you'll be doing a bang up job, much better than that wanker Morris . Or maybe you'll just continue to lounge in your basement and troll this site like the usual
      cheers

    9. Nope! The man who made the costume and the man who wore the costume came forward years ago. There are only a few stragglers who still believe the costume was a real monster.

    11. That’s rich considering half the year you believe Bigfoot and skinwalking-treepeople.

If someone made a costume, they tend to be able to remake that costume. If they can’t remake a costume they claim to have made, and then endorse all sorts of contradictions about how the alleged costume was made... The most basic standards of scepticism (what you’re meant to be role-playing remember?), not to mention plain old common sense dictates he didn’t make a costume. Oh, and the subject in the PGF footage is almost 7 feet tall (proven by the MccLarin comparison that had the exact same lense Patterson had)... Bob H is 6 feet fall. But continue praying... You are reassuring yourself against skinwalking-treepeople who can jump in and out of existence anywhere at any time and grab you... After all.

Shut up and find a magic monkey suit, ya prized prat.

    12. The man who wore the bigfoot suit admitted his part in the hoax and the costume maker detailed Patterson's costume purchase from his company.

      This is old news.

    14. 1:15,

There's no point in getting a bigfoot suit and doing more pranks. There has been diminishing returns on gorilla suit high jinks since the Patterson hoax. You could get away with that type of hoax 50 years ago.

    15. “Boo-hoo”

      Still no magic monkey suit.

    16. Boo hoo, still no Bigfoot, how old is that Paterson Gimlin film now?

    17. There’s in fact plenty of “Bigfoot” in the evidence it’s left since that footage; six decades of it in total. Three of those decades documented specific morphological congruency, before particular replica casts were made, and before things like mid-tarsal breaks had attention drawn to them... aligned with track ways that show that a genuine biological foot has made contact with the ground. Might I add... Directly linked to the footage you so desperately needed to help with some self-esteem issues.

I promise you I’ll check in tomorrow and there’ll be **** all but more prayers left here. No substance.

      Delete
    18. I'll be checking in for bigfoot too since your "evidence " is accepted by no one, yep, any day now ...bigfoot, yep...plaster....yep, oh my poor self esteem, yep, still waiting.....still waiting....anytime you're ready, let's see that bigfoot, no? Not today? Tomorrow for sure. ...yep, mid tarsal sure to show on them giant skeletons that no one but you verified....yep...remember those? Yep

    22. Yeah, just as I thought... **** all. Just more prayers.

      What an abject failure.

And you’ll notice that every piece of evidence I reference has a scientist verifying it, none more so than the evidence I referenced at 3:05 that is linked to the PGF that is now peer reviewed.

You stick to imaginary financial income Stuey, that’s your level. Ironic huh?

      Delete
    23. The PGF costume was peer reviewed by the costume maker Philip Morris and the costume wearer Bob Hieronimus. They both referenced their actual parts related to the Patterson Bigfoot hoax.

Both Morris and Hieronimus documented specific morphological congruency found in the Morris costume and the PGF.

    24. Should I pray or not cry? Make up your mind. ikdummy.

Good luck providing real evidence for your imaginary hairy beings. LOL

    25. One can physically cry and pray at the same time.

You demonstrate it perfectly when you special plead away evidence every day of your life.

You are a racist coward who needs to stop crying... And debunk Bigfoot.

      Delete
    26. Stu, you are grasping at straws . Morris with modern day costume technology didn't even come close to recreating the PGF creature, his go at it was pitiful and he must have died of embarrassment . Now if the creature was a bloke in a costume it would be an easy snap to make another one and an even better looking one but no one has even come close to this day so i say once again, collect your milk money and have a go at doing it
i don't expect you to succeed mind you but it is fun watching to evade the challenge

Remember when I embarrassed you with the examples of skeletal feet, and you couldn’t tell the difference between a normal foot and a mid-tarsal break? Why would you even bring this **** up after that?

    42. Oh and Stuey? I’ve not proven the existence of Bigfoot, no... but I can reference the work of others who have proven that a creature with the same anatomy as Bigfoot is leaving its sign on two continents. And just like a good little fundie, you’ll proceed to follow your faith over basic scientific principles.

      Delete
    43. That was a great seething response and hardly anyone can smell the reek of desperation in it, by golly I'm going to win yet, not on anything bigfoot or skeleton related though, or anything to do with science, but snarkiness and ignorance, winning

    44. Bi pedal creatures with the same anatomy as say a hair covered forest man, what type of creature could leave a five toed bi pedal track? Must dwell on this, what leaves a track like that? Hmmmm, what leaves a track like that that we attribute to an unseen ape man that you admit you can't prove? I'm going to have to sleep on this
      Joe

    45. Average humans don’t usually have midtarsal breaks, massive feet or be walking around barefoot miles into wildnerness interiors. And there are three databases of repeats that attest to something hairy and very, very large leaving those prints.

“Desperation” is using obvious sockpuppets when you’ve been destroyed with the basics of science. Shut up Stuey... you’re roasted.

      Delete
    46. What, humans don't have or usually don't? Hmmmm how is weight proven by a faked footprint in the woods, by the fool who finds it?

    47. "Measurements and estimates on Sasquatch dimensions, collected over the last 40 years in the Western U.S and Canada, were subjected to statistical analysis and extrapolation by scaling laws appropriate to primates and mammals. The study has yielded average population values for foot length and width, scaling factors of foot length to height, values for weight, plantar pressure, walking and running gait, speed, and a tentative growth curve as a function of time for the female of the species. The results suggest a substantial population with traits different from those of other higher primates and humans.“

    49. You’re a pathological pervert, and racist, who uses sockpuppet accounts and various methods of getting around banning, to harass prey on the emotions of strangers for self-gratification. There’s a long list of psychologists writing about the behaviour you exhibit. And even by reading this, you’ll be getting off on it with your hand down your shorts because someone is temporary offering you the attention you crave. I have no qualms at all about judging scum like you. I’m no angel but I know in my heart & soul I’m a far better person than you.
