  1. Wow - a book about Bigfoot being reviewed by a Bigfoot researcher. Sort of like a book about faith healing being reviewed by an evangelist - you just know how it will turn out.

    Mr Baxter would be better served reviewing books about acne.

    1. Don’t you know that there would have to be thousands of years of gorilla suit wearing hoaxers for bigfoot not to exist? Just ignore the fact that I’ve repeatedly claimed that bigfoot is human and it wouldn’t make sense for people to be seeing gorillas. I never claimed that my role playing fantasy should make any sense!

    2. Did anyone understand that?

      Me neither.

      This entire thread is one person speaking to himself. By the way.

      You believe that there is a culture hopping, globe-trotting, thousands years’ old conspiracy society, planting tracks & running around in gorilla costumes in the US. And that an estimated figure for these conspirators amounts to 100 people. Does a woman being followed by a van seem crazier than than that to you?

    4. Look at all the crap we make up in modern times. Why should native american tribes be any different? Every culture needs it's imaginary boogie-man and probably more so back then to keep their children close and safe. It's a real weak argument but when you are desperate you will use anything you think might stick.

    5. Is bigfoot a human or a gorilla? I guess it depends upon which lie is more convenient at the time.

    6. There is no need to doubt thousands of years of Native American oral histories, because there is not only consistency of reports from contemporary cultures to them, but there is 60 years of physical evidence in the present, some of which is linked to footage of the exact same widely reported hominin to which is now even peer reviewed.

      Patty looks like a gorilla costume at first. This is due to her sloping forehead. However once you remove her hair, she just looks like an archaic human;

    7. So much for the idea that hunters would be reluctant to shoot bigfoot because it looks so human. Now it looks like a gorilla — until its hair is shaved! Maybe there is a society of hunters who are shaving all the bigfoots they see!

    9. If something tends to walk on two feet... it’s natually associated with humans. You only have to speak to but a very small amount of hunters to know this. You’re also taking my statement literally. Instead of “gorilla costume”, I could quite easily have said “non-human primate” costume. Which to many is exactly what they report in these hominins. In fact, you’ll notice innumerable comment sections with me using that exact statement to bring into contact the likelihood of Native Americans offering the exact same descriptions & behavioural traits that we come to recognise in primates today... in a country and from a time when no recognised primates reside (allegedly).

      Yes... that feeling as you’ve read that is the proverbial penny dropping.

      Bigfoot, from afar, occasionally covered in black hair, with long arms and sloping forehead would look to most like a bipedal gorilla. It’s fortunate that we can stabelise a remarkable piece of footage to know better.

    10. No... you’ve genuinely got a few minutes left before I call it a night. I’ll be back in the morning of course.

    11. Okay, I’m sorry that I took your statements literally. Next time, I will just assume that you mean the exact opposite of what you write! Admittedly, your comments will make a bit more sense that way! Ha ha ha!

    12. For example...

      “Argh yes!! For thousands of years, there has been a culture hopping secret society of gorilla suit wearing role players, all out to gain. These role players, spanning different cultures, and though finding each others customs undesirable, have managed to role-play up the same creature with non-human primate features, when they didn't even know what one looked like, and have in fact managed to cheat experts with fake morphological traits that span decades and continents!

      "Bleevers" live in such a fantasy world, eh?”

      I’ll be back in the morning. Nighty night!

    13. Can we still bigfoot role-play after Iktomi falls asleep?

      I get to play pale bigfoot researcher until Iktomi wakes up!

    14. Yes, thank goodness we can “stabelise” the footage!

      And thank you for clarifying that whether bigfoot is a gorilla or a human is completely dependent upon which lie you feel is more important at the time! Ha ha ha!

      Delete
    15. Good to know that natives have been studying the morphological features of bigfoot’s gorilla shaped head for thousands of years. Oh wait, I’m not supposed to take your comments literally — now it makes sense! Ha ha ha!

    16. It's always shifting deflecting changing, obscuring, revising...anything to make the story more feasible. What NEVER changes however is the lack of an actual body of what they call Bigfoot.

      Belief in Bigfoot has now turned into a running joke. The program "Finding Bigfoot" has sealed that. Outside of a very small number of the faithful there is no interest by reputable scientists or the media because they have been down that road and realize there is nothing substantial there. We are now down to baseless lawsuits and.......a footprint on a mattress???

      Laugh at them, insult them, pity them, whatever....the Bigfoot believers have nothing.

    18. Then it might be wise for them to go there. Choosing a website where open debate and questioning is allowed is to their detriment. It's much more reassuring and safe to go where they "preach to the choir".

    19. Natives have reported primate behaviour & sounds akin to recognised primates, in reports for what is commonly known as “Bigfoot” for hundreds of years. They’ve had these hominins in their oral histories for thousands. It’s only with the discovery of the gorilla that their widely description from “wild man” turned to the “gorilla”. Whether I’m using “gorilla costumes” or “non-human primate costumes” to add perspective to how impossible it would be for Natives to consistently describe a primate that shouldn’t be there... is not to the detriment of that consistency that is in favour of it existing. Especially since there is physical evidence in the present. The inner debate amongst enthusiasts & witnesses as to what Bigfoot is will roll on until the DNA is established... which at present keeps coming back human. Considering what people are reporting (once up close) is an archaic human, then it is my theory that’s what it is. Due to Natives having no written history, the shape of the head has only been documented for the past couple of hundred years. But this does not take from the fact that people were describing primate features and behaviour before they had a chance to be aware of any consistency in recognised primates elsewhere on the planet.

      “It's always shifting deflecting changing, obscuring, revising...anything to make the story more feasible.”

      Indeed. First, this subject was “all role-play”. Then, the “overwhelming majority were merely misidentifying”, and the role-players were down to an estimated figure of just 100 for the entire US. Then you were “joking” about the 100 role-players allegedly responsible for a multi-million dollar Bigfoot industry. Then, the role-players were grouped into two camps; the “hoaxer film producers”, and the role-players. Then there was only five role-players as a number (most of whichbwere people who frequent this blog), but I still couldn’t get any sense as to a number of a combined “hoaxer, film producer & role-players” figure. All allegedly guilty of running around the country in gorilla costumes, planting footprints and holding & attending events. And this latest accusation on your part coming after the following was published on the very previous comment section, not only describing your ad hoc conspiracy to the T, but also putting into perspective how much you like to project to take control of what upsets you;

      “Conspiracy theories, on the other hand, are tough to disprove. Their proponents can make the theories increasingly elaborate to accommodate new observations.”
      https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/insights-into-the-personalities-conspiracy-theorists/

      “Bigfoot” is far from a running joke. For decades now, the most experienced and very best primatologists have claimed to be enthusiastic about the prospect of a very real bipedal primate being behind the anecdotes & evidence. As time goes on, there are only more PhD’s being added to the list of people happy to consider the idea after actually looking at the data, there are world remowned experts happy to test DNA, and the evidence is now being peer reviewed. None of this would occur if not only reputable scientists & the media found the subject a joke, but if the creature in question didn’t exist. Simply put; over time (and most definitely since the development of the internet), this subject has done nothing but gain credibility. Whereas to pathologically obsessed deniers have nothing to substantiate the ludicrous idea that this subject is all down to hoaxing and lies. A theory I might add... that you have not only asserted every day of your life for many years, but one that as soon as someone asked you to apply a moment’s thought, you choked. Which is indicative of no confidence at all.

      And when you’ve quite finished talking to yourself...
