Getting Zapped By Bigfoot

Some people report feelings of sickness when encountering bigfoot. Around the bigfoot community, this is known as being "zapped". The most plausible explanation of this is infrasound. Tim "Coonbo" Baker, worked many years as an engineer for the government, experimenting with infrasound. He talks about how this could be accomplished by bigfoot, and how it would effect humans.

  2. Remember the movie Zapped with Scott Baio. His Character got zapped by a laser and he gains telekinetic powers. Great movie and Scott Baio banged some amazing chicks in his time. The storyline to that movie is more realistic than bigfoot existing and zapping people. Could you imagine if it was actually Scott Baio out in the woods zapping people. Makes you think.

Should your memory fail you at any point in the next twelve hours, here's the link from yesterday, Stuey. Oh... And I haven't got around to sourcing the comment sections where you've been derogatory towards Australian people yet, but when I do I'm sure you'll drop the Australian sockpuppet facade as well.

  11. The North American black bears living at Woburn have a 13 acre reserve, which they share with the Canadian Timber wolves. This is one of the only mixed carnivore enclosures in the UK. Woburn has six adult bears and five cubs that arrived in May 2013. All eleven bears live outside 365 days a year and will hibernate through the cold months of winter.

  12. The Project Polar reserve is home to four polar bears, 16 year old Victor who arrived at YWP in August 2014, now retired from the European breeding programme after siring 10 cubs, his grandson 2 year old Pixel who arrived at the park on the 25th of March 2015 from Holland, 2 year old Nissan who arrived all the way from Moscow on the 13th of October and YWP’s latest arrival, 2 year old Nobby who arrived from Munich on the 18th of February.

The ground-breaking reserve is 10 acres and features two lakes, the largest one covers an area of 6,500 square metres, containing over 25.5 million gallons of water. The 8 metre deep lake is fantastic for Pixel and Victor to swim, dive and play in and features an island that you will frequently see the bears launch themselves off into the water.

  14. bears: Bernard (or Bernie), our handsome male, and Lima the female.
The two bears have been carefully matched, with the hopes that they will go on to eventually produce cubs to increase the population of the species which are vulnerable to extinction.

These bears are named after the Andes Mountains where wild bears live. With there being only 20,000 left in the wild, it is really important for us to do all we can to help them survive.

Andean bears are sometimes referred to as "spectacled bears" because of the white rings they sometimes have around their eyes, making them look like they're wearing a pair of specs!

Bernard and Lima are registered on the European Endangered Species Breeding Programme, a carefully managed scheme overseeing the breeding of zoo animals in different countries. It means that zoos work together to try and breed more of these endangered species.

  15. We have two bears – a female named Milli and a male called Toni who arrived in October 2015 from the Rare Species Conservation Centre in Kent. They're the first sun bears to live at the zoo since 1976.

The pair were rescued as cubs by conservationists working in Cambodia after their mothers were killed by poachers and they were found as mistreated pets, before moving to the UK in October 2013.

Sun bears have very powerful jaws, that can tear open trees in search of insects to eat, as well as big paws with large claws and hairless soles that help them to climb.

Their numbers in the wild are rapidly declining as a result of deforestation and poaching but we hope that with Milli and Toni acting as fine ambassadors for the species, they’ll also help us to highlight the vital research and conservation efforts needed to protect the species in the wild.

  16. We have two sun bears named Somnang and Rotana. They came to live at Edinburgh Zoo in 2010.

Somnang and Rotana are approximately six years old. The boys are great friends and spend most of their time snoozing together and foraging for fruit and nuts.

Rotana gets very excited, searching high and low to sniff out hidden goodies.

Somnang, meaning Lucky, takes things more slowly, usually meandering after Rotana who has put in the ground work.
