This Ghost Story Will Send Shivers Down Your Spine

Check out this episode of "Wyrd Stories" where a ghost named Wilma wants her postcard.

Melissa Roe joins us this week to tell us a ghost story. The ghost moved pots, pans, and clothes. She and her husband were newlyweds at the time of the haunting.

  1. Not as scary as something that can be measured by scientific means, and that can pop your head off like soda bottle top.

    1. To acknowledge the current state of evidence is to adhere to the idea that consistency in field biology is very likely, given the tried and tested scientific methods applied... It is to open all sorts of locked doors to repressed emotions such as the fear of what's in your backyard. The boogeyman.

"What is it that causes you to repress thoughts and feelings? According to Freud its intense anxiety, an emotional state akin to fear. There are two phases that lead a person to repression, in the primary repression phase, an infant learns that some aspects of reality are pleasant, and others are unpleasant; that some are controllable, and others not. In order to define the "self", the infant must repress the natural assumption that all things are equal. Primary repression is the process of determining what is self, what is other; what is good, and what is bad. At the end of this phase, the child can now distinguish between desires, fears, self, and others."

    2. ... It's basically why you have so many angry trolls here who are in full denial about the evidence for something that can pop your head off like a soda bottle top.

    3. Perhaps it has more to do with a mix of disbelief and amusement about a subject which has adherents based on no physical evidence. That and a nasty tempered individual on this forum.

    4. The very root of that statement is based on the perverse denial that such physical evidence exists, and adheres to the psychology posted in the very comment preceding it... Even more so for the time invested in the subject.

    3. Iktomi, you'll have to mind the manners of the Americans on here. it's just that most of them are angry sorts who obsess about politics to the point where they become angry and turn into nasty trolls.
Most of the people on this blog couldn't care less about bigfoot as much as they do about angry confrontation with anyone and everyone.
      Talley ho lads !
