Bob Gimlin Does The Famous Patty Bigfoot Walk

From the youtube channel of Barbara Shupe

Hello everybody! We have another special treat for you! On Tuesday morning, Bob & Thom joined up to discus the footprints and walking patterns left by Patty, the bigfoot seen in the iconic Patterson-Gimlin film from 1967. They also set up a demonstration for our campers to try to match her steps and walk. Lol! It's not as easy as it might seem. :)

  2. The multi-million dollar Bigfoot industry would be dealt a severe blow and perhaps even collapse entirely if Gimlin were to ever state that the PGF was a hoax.

    1. Not even close. Most of us would keep looking and keep presenting imagery regardless of what any one person says.

What happens when you look for BF is that find something that convinces you personally, if you aren't completely blind and half-witted. Being personally convinced means that you basically know the thing is out there so you don't really require anyone's affirmation. Being able to convince anyone else is another matter but it is definitely possible to figure out the truth for yourself.

    2. LOL. The Bigfoot industry relies on the Patterson film. Name one bigfoot documentary that doesn't include it.

    12. This troll has been praying for Gimlin to "reveal all" for about four years, ha ha ha ha!! If this idiot would only familiarise himself with the facts, he'd know that Bob was offered $1M by a documentary producer only a few years ago to come clean and didn't even flinch, and longer ago, he was involved in a court case with Roger Patterson's wife over royalties for the footage which he was left hard done by... And could have "revealed all" then out of spite.

    13. THIS BETWEEN ME AND HATER JOE,
      SO HUG A ROOT FITZMORON!

      Delete
    14. So a documentary producer (who aren't known for having big budgets) offers Bob a supposed payday for coming clean. How did he know that offer was on the level?

      Delete
    15. Because if a documentary producer came up to me and offered me $1M to "come clean", and I was in old age and saw a ticket to not trounce around the country anymore... I'd have at least paused.

... He didn't flinch... He was merely interested in finishing an account that has never changed in 47 years.

    16. And then you have the matter of the court case. D'you know, I really don't think Roger Patterson would have been so detailed in his "costume", whilst shooting in shakey 16MM. I don't think he anticipated the footage being digitalised and stabelised 45 years later and decided to put SFX defying detail to his costume just in case. Detail that could have got him a job in the most well paid of Hollywood SFX as opposed to "swindling about Bigfoot".

    17. Hater Joe ? Just because I school the trolls i'm a hater ? And what are the trolls ? lovers ?
Go drink a gallon of hateraide and find yourself another forum to post your venom on lads

    18. Iktomi is right. Patterson should be in the special effects hall of fame for his so called monkey suit . He would have had no problems getting hired by any major hollywood studio with his skills
Or maybe just maybe he really did film a creature . The skeptics will never sleep thinking about that nugget

    3. All that stick talk seems a little pornographic.

Though it looks like someone brought an ugly stick to that get together.

  4. Looks like ole Bob has fallen in with the wrong crowd. I think he's actually staring to believe the crap Cantrall says.

  5. Roger Patterson toured with his film showing it in gymnasiums and small theaters for a few bucks.

Then he would have "Bob Gimlin" come out and tell his story. Except it wasn't Gimlin. It was a fake Gimlin. Patterson had some other guy dressed like a cowboy and saying that he was Gimlin.

Patterson was a showman. A con too with a fake Gimlin. He was out to make a buck with bigfoot, and he did just that with his famous footage.

    1. Roger Patterson used a "fake Gimlin" because Bob wouldn't tour... And in the mind of the pseudosceptic, that equates to a con man. Someone who can defy 47 years of SFX. The leaps in logic some people do are quite audacious considering the allegations made about enthusiasts.

      Delete
    2. Fake Gimlin = Con job

      Patterson = Con

      Patterson film = Con

      Delete
    3. Fake Gimlin = Gimlin was a truck driver, roofer and tamed wild horses for a living & didn't have the time. Roger needed money for follow up research in Northern California.

Patterson Con = just didn't take a camera back on time.

Patterson Film Con = got monkey suit?
