Man Believes He Found Bigoot Skull

A Utah man believes he was guided to an object that he says is a fossilized bigfoot skull. Or a rock.

WICHITA FALLS, Texas — While on a hike near his home in Ogden, Utah, Todd May felt himself drawn toward something. "I would go out there often and find things, fossils, rocks. I looked around for about half an hour, then I saw it."

What May saw was a 75-pound object he claims is the fossilized head of a Bigfoot. The Bigfoot, known to some as Sasquatch, is a fabled apelike creature that has been spotted hundreds of time in the Northwestern United States.

"This year, debate over Sykes and his work erupted into a full-blown storm. Granted, although the results of his DNA test failed to “prove” that any anomalous ape species existed through DNA analysis, doubt was also thrown over Sykes’ own conclusions—that some of the samples matched a polar bear that existed 40,000 years ago—when independent studies failed to reach the same conclusions."

"Prominent folks in the Bigfoot community dismissed Sykes’ effort."

I could pull this apart all day long … It renders the whole study meaningless. According to this statement, some samples were excluded based on “prioritization of samples of particular historical interest”. That’s a clever way of saying a few samples provided better fodder for the TV documentary, and thus received most of the scientific attention.

      38mins - "I've almost finished studying Zana's DNA."

... Sod the bear, hybrid bears are nothing new and Sykes' expertise is human genetics having literally wrote the book on mitochondrial DNA. The only known researchers that I can find who submitted samples to him were Dan Shirley, Marcel Cagey, Justin Smeja and Derek Randles. The BFRO did not provide any of the North American samples.

The Zana stuff is almost wrapped up... Tick, tock.
