Children Spot Bigfoot Creature In North Carolina
From cryptozoologynews.com:
RANLO, N.C.– A group of children in North Carolina say they came across a primate-like creature.
Ved, whose last name was omitted due to journalistic ethics code relating to the age of a witness, told Cryptozoology News that he and his cousins were “exploring a mountain path” in his neighborhood when the animal showed up.
“It was about dusk,” said the 11 year old. “My cousins were ahead of me. I was sauntering behind and this creature stepped out of the woods,” he added about the purported 2013 cryptid encounter.
The unidentified animal, which the eyewitness said walked on two legs, reportedly had a red fur and was about 8 to 10 feet tall.
“I screamed and started crying… my cousins and I ran home.”

This is a BS story. There are no bigfoot in North Carolina. They only live in the Pacific Northwest.
ReplyDeleteNot true - they live wherever you want them to be. In your backyard, in that clump of trees or down by the campground but I find they live mostly in people's heads.
Delete3:01- it just shows how ignorant you are. Bigfoot is in every state except Hawaii . Educate yourself and don't be such a tosser
DeleteJoe
...Sorry Joe, but I agree with OP..If they exist, they cannot be everywhere: They would have been proven by now..I think if they exist they are deep in PNW and the occasional rogue starts a local legend in another area..
Delete11;23 for a person who`s never been to the USA you have a perverted sense of reality here.

He was sauntering!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's the key Bigfoot is attracted to those that saunter thru the woods!
LET THE SAUNTERING BEGIN!
Oooooooh. Cryptozoology News uses a journalistic ethics code. How professional of them. Now if they just had something real to report. (sad trombone)
ReplyDeleteThey do not saunter. They sashay!
ReplyDeleteCan't be...NC outlawed sashaying...sauntering is next!!
DeleteSo you footers better saunter up before it's illegal.
you wish...they were the biggest wrist-flappin hip-swaying bigfeets i seen...
DeleteThe Forestpeople are very unlikely to be any danger to children. They have an uncanny ability to pick up on the "innocence" of certain human beings. This is well within the scope of the playful behavior of these creatures, observed time and again by various habituators. If and when sasquatches are fully revealed to us, I believe it will be in the course of youngsters who have befriended them and rekindled their faith in humanity for the 'foots.
ReplyDelete^ lunatic
DeleteWhat's your problem? Nothing to say but calling names? I'm sick of all the skeptics who come here and just talk trash. If you don't care about these creatures, why are you trolling a forum of those of us who do? You must be a really bummed out individual to spend your time this way.

DeleteScience has proven that no matter where you are you are never less than 8 feet from a sasquatch. Or maybe it was spiders. Let me check my notes.
ReplyDeleteyour notes are probably written with crayons on toilet paper

^ why not check your own folder - the one with your weekend homework you need to hand in tomorrow - the homework mommy helped with
DeleteI found my notes. It was sasquatch.
Deletesorry mate, my dog ate my homework

The correct answer is Kevin Bacon. Science has proven you are never less than 8 feet away from Kevin Bacon at any given time.
ReplyDelete"Journalist ethics code" was the first clue this was bullshit. It might be the only thing more rare than bigfoot.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the first leap at the Bacon to Bigfoot challenge. I'll need a bit of help to finish it. If memory serves we need seven steps? Here goes.
Delete1. Kevin Bacon was in Animal House with John Belushi. 2.John Belushi was on Saturday Nite live with Dan Ackroyd. 3. Dan is a nut who believes anything? ...damnit... Next up.
...Kevin Bacon was in the original Friday the 13th...which was filmed in the WOODS!...need I say more..
Delete^Um yes.. We ain,t there yet,
DeleteThe ethics code employed in the article did mention Ranlo being a small town, but did not mention that the town is part of the Charlotte-Metro Area and that it sits right along side the continuous clusterf*** known as I-85.
ReplyDeleteI am inclined to agree about the pacific north west being the most likely range for this species if it exists. I am pretty firmly convinced that as the Patterson Film took root in our culture, that contamination became inevitable. The forests are incredibly rich and vast, and much different than other areas where we get reports. It is unique ecologically.
ReplyDeleteYou may notice a parallel with reports of alien abduction. Once the Betty and Barney Hill, and Travis Walton stories began to be televised, more and more reports began to surface. Does this indicate an increase in abductions, or does it mean the idea has penetrated the culture? At a certain point, it becomes necessary to be very, very discriminating if one wishes to arrive at some truth. The vast majority of genuinely intriguing Bigfoot evidence comes from the pacific north west. It makes sense to focus research efforts on these areas. There are vastly more reports and data to work with.
my theory is that people are more comfortable in sharing their experiences once they read about others also having similar ones and that they are not alone in having them. in a negative way we have also seen people come forward with their stories regarding celebs and their shameful behavior
DeleteNow that the giggle factor has been mostly removed people aren't as afraid of ridicule and sometimes knowing others have been through the same can be very empowering
Joe
any attention good or bad is quite the drug for some people. out of all the reports of sightings. i would think maybe 3-10% may have merit. the rest fall in with mis-identify while truly believing that they saw something odd,and out right fraud and hoaxes being the rest
DeleteJoe, you make a valid point, and I'm sure that accounts for some of the increase in reports. I still maintain that the % of solid, viable sightings is quite a bit lower than we are led to believe. I don't think these creatures are very common at all. Honestly, I think once the reports pour in from unlikely areas, the more absurd the claim looks to those who are not well acquainted with the good evidence. The phenomenon explodes into the culture, and people rightly ask: if there are so many, why no body? Statistically, one would turn up somewhere if the distribution was that wide. I have no issue imagining a furtive and relatively small population remaining hidden in the Pacific Northwest. The forests are absolutely mammoth, and awe inspiring in scope.
