Bears Don't Have Hands

From youtuber Jeff Patterson:

Sunday, April 17th 2016, I found what I first thought might be a bear track until I began looking closer. The print was the size of my whole hand but upon inspection it appeared to be that of a right palm print, with the fingers pulled into a cupped position. It appeared that the individual had used the right hand for balance as it lifted a stone from the ground with the left hand. Near that location was a stick left laying against a rotten tree and used to poke into the decaying log...possibly looking for grubs.

  1. I bet you could write off a few business lunches if you owned your company.

But that implies that footers work....much less own their own business.

    3. I believe it's a legit palm print. Bigfoots have been seen many times poking around for grubs and other insects and they use a stick to do it

  2. Joekomi is some Welshman who has decided that Bigfoot is real and spews the party line all day long at BFE. He is one of those Footers that loves to pronounce the next big thing as the event that will vindicate all Footers. Until recently everyday he would spout nonsense like " Sykes is coming. ..tick tock..just a matter of time" Of course, that proved to be an embarrassment for him. He is really quite the tool. His current fixation is archaic humans. He is convinced Zana was a Bigfoot and that Nature magazine is now somehow confirming this.

Indeed. That's Meldrum's Relict Hominoid Inquiry. Meldrum and his buddies made up their own journal in which to disseminate their ill-founded ideas. The so-called journal is not in any meaningful way peer-refereed, nor is it indexed via Web of Science.

To suggest that Kathy Strain's "hairy man" interpretation of the referenced pictographs is legitimized by its appearance in this virtual rag of a journal demonstrates a profound misunderstanding of scientific publication.

OOH - oh okay. The PGF was a hoax perpetuated by Roger Patterson to 1) make him some dough and 2) advance the belief in bigfoot among the simple-minded.

    1. It would be easy to think that the costume was originally intended to be a male and then the breasts were added as an afterthought. If you removed the breasts you'd instantly have a male. There is nothing "female" about the face or physique.

    2. AND HOW THE HELL WOULD YOU KNOW.

That has got to be one of the stupidist arguments(on it's face) I've ever put forth here.

Son of a bitch, TK's right I'm going out to watch the sun move off to the right, as it goes out of sight for the night. Vanishing point ---- just like 4;32's reasoning. Ha ha ha.

    3. Yes, Jeff Meldrum's online journal that has an editorial board consisting of John Bindernagel, PhD Courtenay, BC, Canada, Colin Groves, PhD Australian National University Canberra, Australia, Chris Loether, PhD Idaho Sate University Pocatello, ID, Jeffrey McNeely, PhD Chief Scientist IUCN - World Conservation Union Gland, Switzerland, Lyn Miles, PhD University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, John Mionczynski Wildlife Consultant Atlantic City, WY, Anna Nekaris, PhD Oxford Brooks University Oxford, England, Ian Redmond, OBE Conservation Consultant Manchester, England, Esteban Sarmiento, PhD Human Evolution Foundation East Brunswick, NJ, Zhoua Guoxing, PhD Beijing Museum of Natural History Beijing, China.

None other than George Schaller who is an International science director for the Wildlife Conservation Society. His pioneering field studies of mountain gorillas setthe research standard later adopted by Goodall and gorilla researcher Dian Fosse. Schaller’s 1963 book, “The Year of the Gorilla,” debunked popular perceptions of the great ape and reintroduced “King Kong” as a shy, social vegetarian. Schaller’s studies of tigers, lions, snow leopards and pandas also advanced the knowledge of those endangered mammals. In 1973, he won the National Book Award for “The Serengeti Lion: A Study of Predator-Prey Relations,” and in 1980 was awarded the World Wildlife Fund Gold Medal for his contributions to the understanding and conservation of endangered species. During the past decade, he has focused on the little-known wildlife of Mongolia, Laos and the Tibetan Plateau.

I love the way these ISF cowards name drop like thy don't have to add a little substance to their ideas, merely ad hominem does the trick to help them sleep better at night. Little b*tches have the nerve to claim they know science when it's merely the religion of Scientism they preach.

"Based on the skin folds and excess adipose tissue seen on her body, it is very likely that “Patty” has at least reached middle age, and almost certainly has had one or more offspring, based on the size and shape of her breasts. In the mature, fertile human female, it is very common for the breasts to undergo a significant change in shape as a result of child-bearing. Prior to becoming pregnant, the woman’s breasts may be located in a relatively high position on her chest, and be prominent anteriorly. With pregnancy, the change in hormonal levels results in the glandular (milk-producing) tissue in the breast increasing its size, with the degree dictated by that individual’s genetics. If the woman then opts to breast feed her infant following delivery, the glandular size increase will persist as long as that process is ongoing. Once nursing has been discontinued, the glandular tissue will reduce in size, with the breast becoming smaller. The skin envelope around the breast tissue will attempt to contract back to its original size and shape, but if the increase in volume during (and after) pregnancy was significant, and if nursing was continued for a prolonged period of time (several months), the overlying skin may have actually grown to the larger size. As such, it will not be able to contract back to the pre- pregnancy dimensions. In appearance, it becomes more flattened and longer, with a resultant “drooping” characteristic. Multiple pregnancies only serve to make this condition more prevalent."
