How To Call A Bigfoot: The Right Way And The Wrong Way

Long before Matt Moneymaker and Bobo ever thought about trying it, two bigfoot hunters from the South had been making bigfoot calls since they were young kids. Mimicing what they heard in the woods, these two became sought after for their effective calling techniques. Here they talk about their calls, how they learned them, and the various other types of vocalizations they believe bigfoot makes.

  2. PJ got BLOWN THE FU CK OUT on the last thread. He literally lost it and went on a tirade against some innocent poster who was just pointing out the obvious hoax video. PJ is on the ropes. Without any bigfoots to speak of he is relying on wild conjecture, ad hominem attacks and pseudoscientific nonsense.

  3. Moneymaker is suck a schmo. The BfrSchmo organization. A woodknock is a warning sound...and calls are territorial sounds..not the way to be Finding Bigfoot.

    1. I kinda agree. What we think the wood knocks or howls represent may not be what they actually are and we shouldn't be surprised that they rarely get a response

    2. It does seem unlikely that wood knocking would produce responses very often. Consider hitting a tree with a bat. Now assume the animal that hears it is some distance away. It would have to drop whatever it was doing, and and find a suitably strong piece of timber to strike a response, presumably answering a party it knows nothing about. I'm going to say for the sake of argument, that if these creatures are in fact out there, and they are as adept at concealment as we believe, that would be aware of other troops in their range. Again, not saying I'm convinced any of this is the case, but such knocks would would be meant to communicate something specific. Who says the researchers are sending the right message?

    3. There is a fine chance that such knocks might be making an announcement to stay away, there are intruders in our territory, if in fact, they are wood knocks from an Animal.

    4. until we actually know for sure what they mean we could be sending the wrong signals. There could be a bigfoot within shouting distance observing them and be wise to what they are doing and not respond "silly humans , they think we are dumb"

    6. Cool video Iktomi. I live in British Columbia and anyone who says there's not enough habitat for them to survive, has never flown over British Columbia in a plane. As far as the eye can see in all directions. Wilderness.

    7. It was interesting. It's more like five minutes though ;) im pretty sure I've seen him on a televised documentary. You know, the sad thing is that it's almost impossible to be interested in this subject, yet not be committed to a stance one way or the other without taking a beating from some party. It's my least favorite part about the Bigfoot proposition. If I don't reject it out of hand, I get it from the hardcore skeptics. When I was fully supportive of Bigfoot (a believer) I got outright laughed at. Somehow I've found the middle way. I look at anything that might be favorable and consider it, while rejecting what looks like nonsense. In the case that it could go either way, I like to say I don't know.

    8. I agree, there is so much wilderness out there - more than enough to easily support many different species .
I think a concentrated effort on Vancouver Island could produce some interesting results more than the mainland forests

    9. I am in Santa Cruz CA, about a half mile from central downtown. The mountains are a stone's throw away, and to leave Santa Cruz toward San Francisco, one has no choice but to drive through the mountains. They are vast, and this is only a slice of central California, most of the truly impenetrable dense forest is up north. It is easy to see there could be something out there. You've almost got to see it in person to appreciate how wild it is. Mike Rugg's museum up in Felton is a fun stop, but even more interesting is Henry Cowell State Park. Packed with titanic redwoods, towering hundreds of feet. Ancient and humbling, and there are primeval Ferns everywhere. Visit it if you get the chance, it is most impressive.

  4. How does anyone know that Bigfoot calls are NOT different from one region to another? Similar ways us humans are not his whole planet! Overtime these guys let out a howl I keep thinking they're idiots!!!
