One Of The Pioneers Of Bigfooting, Tracking The Sasquatch With Rene Dahinden
From bigfootresearchnews.com:
Rene Dahinden is one of the pioneers of Bigfoot research in North America. He is also one of the Four Horsemen of Sasquatchery. The other three being Peter Byre, John Green, and Grover Krantz. Rene was the first no-nonsense Squatcher. The guy basically dedicated the latter part of his life to searching for the creature. He funded his research by collecting spent gun shot from the Vancouver Gun Club, of which he would clean off and re-sell. Rene passed away in 2001, but his legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of many who have come after him. I have much respect for the guy and may he rest in peace. This is a short documentary about Rene that was put together in 1995 by a college student named: Jeff Wonnenberg.

ReplyDeleteRene was an awesome Squatcher!
ReplyDeleteYeah, he was great. I appreciate his discriminating standards, his insistence on "tearing apart" the evidence, and how much bad evidence he had seen. Stuff I'm sure Iktomi accepts without a moment of hesitation. Rene knew that the quality evidence was difficult to come by, and that the truth was more important than quantity. His views on Paul Freeman were punishing.
