Finding Bigfoot Filming In Mississippi

The Finding Bigfoot team is in the great state of Mississippi looking for bigfoot and bigfoot witnesses. Filming will begin January 11th, and continue through the 18th. If you're in the area and have had a sighting, you can email them at mslafindingbigfoot@gmail.com.

Canton and Jackson are no strangers to movie cameras, but instead of the towns' historic locations, soon the cameras will be traveling into surrounding campsites, farms and hunting land in search of the elusive 'Bigfoot.'

Producers for the hit Animal Planet show "Finding Bigfoot" have been canvassing a 100-mile radius of Jackson looking for people to tell them stories and show them places where sightings have occurred.

Jen Green said that they have traveled hundreds of miles and were on their way to the Alabama state line Wednesday morning to follow up on a sighting.

"We have talked to people all over the state and we are looking for people to share their stories. Some people are hesitant to tell their stories because they think people wont believe them. We want to make it a safe place so that people will not feel intimidated," Green said.

Filming will begin Jan. 11 and go through Jan. 18. One of the shows signature "town hall" meetings will be held on the evening of Jan 12., a Tuesday.

"We are looking for anyone who has a story or sighting of Bigfoot and would be willing to share their story with us on the show," Green said.

Anyone with a Bigfoot sighting can contact the shows producers at mslafindingbigfoot@gmail.com to inquire about participating in one of the shows town hall meetings.

When someone who has researched for 40 years, following all the leads yet has come up with no bigfoots states that he doubts the existence then there is not a lot that a proponant can do to get any confidence back in the topic.

Plenty of fake animal stompers out there... It's a bit of a silly argument. Whilst, for every fake track that has been identified (whether it be slow in being identitied or not), it's been used to progress the field's understanding of such tracks going forward. No... My point regarding the PGF is that for someone so cynical and challenging of the subject matter, he stood by it's authenticity to the end. Lumping one of your main sources of denial, not to mention one of your biggest boogeyman fears not doubt, with alcoholism doesn't really get around to finding a monkey suit now... Does it?

And please don't refer to yourself as a sceptic, or representative of that way of thinking. You don't even understand the meaning of the word, and to paint yourself in a remotely intellectual light when your best angles are lies and failure to provide substance to your claims, is ever so slightly cringey.

    12. For confirmation of a new species as profound as a relict hominid... Only a body is ever going to suffice. But that doesn't mean there isn't reliable scienific evidence to warrant further investigation, and quite frankly it is a travesty that it hasn't occurred on a mainstream level yet. Think about that... There IS physical evidence for Sasquatch without a consorted effort by mainstream science yet. Just think what would occur should people pull their finger out. And trust me... I've spent more time researching your point of view than you have, and if there was a means to successfully denounce the evidence I list, I wouldn't list it.

There are plenty of very valid reasons for the economy to be effected should Sasquatch become a recon fused species, you don't have to be enthusiastic about this topic to understand that... One merely has to look at a particular owl that was discovered in the PNW to which ruined the logging economy in those parts. Myself? I personally think that the government can't draw attention to a creature that itself can't capture... If it can't capture it, then how can it make it public? How's that for you kid?

12:00#2... No... I think the reality of the situation is that you've just got poor grammar. A ten year old knows how to use quotation marks. And you "took me apart" just how exactly? By missunderstanding what the word "peer" means and then getting listed the best conservationists and primatologists who are a part of Meldrum's editorial board? By using the lame argument that he gets paid for his work, when, that's what all scientists who publish books do? Oh please... You make me cringe at the best of times, but patting yourself on the back when after all that silliness, you didn't actually present even one argument against Meldrum's work is seriously embarrassing.

    54. Hey pal! So far I don't have to deny anything! You don't seem to be able to show us what's allegedly so obvious! Ha ha ha!!

From what I noticed being objective, was the American government putting Sasquatch sightings in an Atlas, alluding to the FBI testing hair samples, is as much recognition as is possible without a body on a slab, finding it important enough to use $200,000 of tax payers' money to make it. The focus was to inform the public of what they might expect in the wilderness of Washington. It in fact included satire as to the average person suggesting "Bigfoot" had no place in a Washington Atlas. If you don't think a government document that lists sightings and hair samples is significant, I would suggest you're either trying too hard to play it down, or another silly little denialist.

You sure do like to deflect. I'm asking a simple question before spending my time looking for quotes, although I have a feeling I'm wasting it right now.

It's looking pretty grim for you to be honest pal?

    60. Others can judge for themselves whether the beliefs can be considered conspiracies. Right know I'm asking if you believe the things I mentioned to be true or not. It's not difficult. And yes you have been deflecting.

Will you finally address the question?

    9. Out of context words explanation?

If you are talking about conspiracies, whether it is secret or not is immaterial. It is possible for governments to conspire and that is what you are expressing.

      Delete
    10. "Cringe" is a code word, isn't it iktomi? You're actually doing something else.

    11. Ok... Allow me to hold your hand through this one, again... The word out of context would be "pareidolia". This was totally out of context for the exchange, and one thinks that it's the only thing the anon has any confidence on that he should drop it in when the exchange incolves what it obviously something that DOES not inspire confidence... One can deduce that by the way they epically failed to provide anything of substance.

Where are all the ******* adults gone?

I am not the not the one who abides to the premise that for thousands of years, there has been a culture hopping secret society of gorilla suit wearing conspirators all out to get your money. These people, though finding each others customs undesirable, and spanning from a time when they didn't even know what an ape looked like, have in fact managed to cheat the best experts with fake biological species traits that span decades and States, in lottery win fashion too.

      Now that's kooky.

      Delete
    12. I see where the confusion comes from regarding the pareidolia usage. You were replying to the wrong person. My bad for not realizing that but if you would have simply restated what you were talking about without all the dancing around it would have been a lot easier.

I don't think there is a secret society of gorilla suit conspirators. However in the last 50 years there has been an inordinate amount of hoaxing. I contend that there have always been boogie men and the traits you seen in common are merely superficial.

"Cringey" is such a tinny word. I do prefer a good woody word. "Pareidolia" is a splendid woody word, don't you think?

IktomiFriday, January 8, 2016 at 10:04:00 AM PST
Nargh! Watching someone pretending to be clever is what it is... And using a term like "pareidolia" out of context for the immediate discussion, isn't helping that to be honest.
      (Cringe)

... Around 8 hours and well over 55 comments later, and you still didn't get it? Please stop putting your literary shortcomings off on others, I'm stooping low enough responding to you as it is.

When the manufacturing of scientific evidence brings down social pillars such as the judiciary system and the peer review process (which has occurred and both still stand all he same), then your straw man argument might take hold.

... The Smithsonian is sometimes referred to as "the nation's attic" for its holdings of 138 million items, the Institution's Washington, D.C., nucleus of nineteen museums, nine research centres, and zoo, many of them historical or architectural landmarks, is the largest such complex in the world. Additional facilities are located in Arizona, Maryland, New York City, Virginia, Panama and elsewhere, and 168 other museums are Smithsonian affiliates... After many of the bones may have been handed back over to Native Anericans in the Repatriation Act.. They could be anywhere!!
