  2. Laying Shingles on a Tar Shack............

I think i should explain. This is an old expression that many still use today. Its very accurate and truthful. And the best part is that you can do it too!
First gather you some photos of Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, or Obama. Then spread them out on the floor. These will be your tar shack. Then, bend over and hover above them and let loose with a few turds. Try and get the turds to come in suprts so that the turds come out in little segments. Aim these so that they come out over the head of your tar shack. This is whats known as "laying shingles". When done correctly, the turds will actually make the tar shack more attractive than it was before the shingling..............And there you have it. Laying Shingles on a Tar Shack.

  3. "You know, I've spent over 40 years — and I didn't find it. I guess that's got to say something." - Rene Dahinden

Now what is pathetic is joe claims in the last thread that this is a made up quote when it is not. It renders everything else joe said as worthless as the steaming turd sasfooty found.

Joe is on the ropes, his delusions of a giant apeman are crumbling all around him as he gets pummeled brutally day in day out by reality. What a truelly deluded fool.

    1. Even if it was made up (which it isn't) it's no doubt Dahinden had some doubts by the time he died.

    3. That's not the point. Iktomi claimed the quote was made up. I was just pointing out that it is consistent with his feelings before he died.

Besides, I'm not sure he entirely said they don't exist-- more a case of doubt as I said.

5:07... I'm not disputing that Renee said the above quote, but Roger Patterson certainly didn't make that quote up top and that's what I was alluding to. "I guess that's got to say something"... Yes Renee, a very clever, very rare creature indeed. But it doesn't mean it never saw you!

"Oh wow... when someone who has been looking for 40 years says they dont exist then that truelly is the death knell for footery"
... Would you like to find a direct quote where Renee ever actually said that? You prized prat... I know you've been butthurt for too long, but "giant apemen" that aren't meant to exist don't leave tracks, to which Renee sourced one of the most comprehensive collections ever.

No, no... The pleasure's all mine.

    5. ...Happy New Year to Joe and all Evidence Fans!..Renee never stopped believing in the existence of bigfoots..He was convinced by the better and more credible reports and believed the PGF to be genuine..His conservative approach to the purported evidence(an approach I wish more enthusiasts would take) is sometimes mistaken for skepticism or denialism...

  4. I wonder where joe stands on portals? Is he willing to go down the rabbit hole? He seems like the sort of person who would buy it hook line and sinker because all anecdotes are true and extraordinary claims do not require extraordinary evidence right?

Extraordinary claims shouldn't because based on human experience, one extraordinary claim stops being that extraordinary to someone if they have had the said experience. It's a PSEUDOSCEPTIC mantra that I like turning on the PSEUDOSCEPTICS. According to you... For ten thousand years there's been a conspiracy to get your money by a group of gorilla suit wearing menaces! That's your extraordinary claim. Now get the extraordinary evidence! To abide by this ideal is to carry your own burden.

    5. I think the money grab came in within the last 50 years. When you have a shred of peer reviewed evidence we can talk about the "conspiracies".

The simplest, most probable answer is that there is no Bigfoot type creature.

    7. 12:49... "Randy Schekman, a US biologist who won the Nobel prize in physiology or medicine this year and receives his prize in Stockholm on Tuesday, said his lab would no longer send research papers to the top-tier journals, Nature, Cell and Science. Schekman said pressure to publish in "luxury" journals encouraged researchers to cut corners and pursue trendy fields of science instead of doing more important work. The problem was exacerbated, he said, by editors who were not active scientists but professionals who favoured studies that were likely to make a splash. Schekman criticises Nature, Cell and Science for artificially restricting the number of papers they accept, a policy he says stokes demand "like fashion designers who create limited-edition handbags." He also attacks a widespread metric called an "impact factor", used by many top-tier journals in their marketing. A journal's impact factor is a measure of how often its papers are cited, and is used as a proxy for quality. But Schekman said it was "toxic influence" on science that "introduced a distortion". He writes: "A paper can become highly cited because it is good science - or because it is eye-catching, provocative, or wrong."

      ... And here's an actual paper on how flawed a process the peer review is;
      http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1420798/
... Would you like me to source you instances where the peer review process has actually been used to lie to the scientific public? Surely by your standards of conspiracy theories and all, this process can't be trusted to have anything enthusiastic to such an earth shatteringly controversial subject?

  5. LOL - one member of the audience doesn't exactly look spellbound by by Dr. Johnson's presentation and is drifting off. Just out of curiosity does anyone know who he is?

I can't say I blame him though. Talk of portals and gifting bowls doesn't capture my interest either.
