New Footage: Shenandoah Sasquatch?

Is this footage of the famous Shenandoah Sasquatch? If so, there could be something to the mystery in Shenandoah after all. In 1998, while hiking down a mountain trail in Shenandoah Mountains, a man allegedly unloaded his gun on a sasquatch. "I emptied every round of the gun in the general direction of whatever it was and then it disappeared," said the man.

This brand new footage from Shenandoah is interesting. While filming in the woods, the student captured the following figure. Could it be a person? It's hard to say. The student writes: "I'm a college student from Pittsburgh and I was filming in the woods at the Shenandoah. When I saw what I assume to be a Sasquatch. If you have any information on Sasquatch in Shenandoah please contact me through my inbox."

  2. Do you JREF/ISF footers teach your children that it's OK to be a pathological liar like your fellow footer "Alaskabushpilot" as long as you pretend not to believe in Bigfoot ?

  3. If I was filming something that I didn't have a clue about, I wouldn't just state "What is that all about". I'd like it to be an actual sighting of the big guy (or girl) but he just sounds all wrong.

  4. It seems strange the camera stops with the subject, at the 9:00 sec mark...I thought the camera man would have kept filming to the right as the subject was moving...seems like he knew it would stop...?

    1. Newbie? Not being a camera guy is step 4 in the Bigfoot Chasers Handbook. Step 7 is use a Zippo for filming at night.

    2. DS, maybe there was more filmed but it only shows footage that recorded something. In any event it's impossible to tell what it is other than someone walking upright.

    3. Perhaps he should have shouted WOW! I have just filmed orbs and Bigfoot! All researchers (even the joke pretend ones) are judged on their output. You have been judged 'Doctor Squatch'.

  5. Fake. At least try to get it out in the open like Roger Patterson did. At least Patterson got a clear, unobstructed view of the creature. Whether you think that his film is fake, or not, you could see what he was taking a picture of. Lack of reaction=hoax. If I saw a Bigfoot there, I'd be flipping out. This guy is nonchalantly "what the f*** is that?" If you're going to fake one of your buddies in a suit, at least act like it's real. Fool.

    1. Patterson got somewhat lucky, riding up on horseback to a section of creek that had been stripped of vegetation due to a flood. Footprints had recently been found in that location so he rode in to check it out.

People react differently to stimuli. Some totally freak out and run when they see a sasquatch, others are more controlled, but I agree that the monotone of his voice almost sounds rehearsed. But I can't really say if this was faked or not. There's so little to see we can't really call it anything.

What I find suspect is he is filming a project for school, and his professor says its a "female" bigfoot. That sounds like hogwash, plus we can't see enough to identify sex.

Worthless video worthy of a lot of the stuff BFE posts here.

    2. You forgot to mention thst the footprints which had recently been found near Bluff Creek were left by an admitted hoaxer.
