Falcon Project Responds to Wall Street Journal's Story On Bigfoot IPO

The Wall Street Journal interview a couple of heavy hitters for their "Bigfoot Isn’t Just a Mythic Figure, He’s an Investment Opportunity" story that included talks of on going project like the Falcon Project. Like always, Bigfoot hunter Tom Biscardi somehow stole the spotlight and introduced his own project called "Bigfoot Project Investments" which is essentially a $3 million IPO "by selling stock in Bigfoot Project Investments. They plan to spend the money making movies and selling DVDs, but are also budgeting $113,805 a year for expeditions to find the beast."

Falcon Project founder William Allen Barnes was also interviewed for the Wall Street piece. Barnes tells us he spoke with the reporter for hours, but only a single quote of his made it into the article. Barnes posted this response on Falcon Project Team & Supporters about an hour ago:

An IPO was not the thrust of our interviews with the WSJ at all, and came as a bit of a surprise that it was the focus of the article. After hours of interviewing with the WSJ reporter and there was a single sentence quoted. I know how it works, but really?

The Falcon Project is tapping the crowd sourcing pipeline, in addition to a select few significant and generous benefactors who desire only to be part of an historical exploratory project. Donations made to the ISU Foundation, which has established an account for the Falcon Project, provide a tax benefit to the donor, and assurance of institutional oversight, but we are not approaching the funding of this project as an "investment" with expectations of individual dividends. Crowd-sourcing such as KickStart and FanBacked offer incentives to donors like autographed books, VIP experiences in the field, etc to larger donors. Our team members are initially working on a volunteer basis until sufficient funds are available to compensate them for their time and expertise.

Biscardi is a scam artist -- entirely flim-flam. His reputation and track record are well established. His involvement with hoaxing, grandstanding and misrepresentation of evidence is demonstrable. It is unfortunate that his story attracts such inordinate attention when serious research and analysis of credible evidence is overlooked or trivialized.

  6. Uh-Oh - now it's on! The old biscuit is infringing on the spotlight of Barnes and Meldrum's project and will compete for money (not that there is that much going around for bigfoot projects anyway).

THERE IS GOING TO BE A RUMBLE!

    1. That old biscuit made a KILLIN on charging people to see the pic. ALL the major lame stream media covered it. And when they realized it was a fraud they refused to say how much money he made so as to not encourage anybody else to pull off such a scam.

  8. Biscardi thinks that enough time has passed for the public to have forgotten that he was involved in the Marx video hoax, the northern California captured Bigfoot hoax, the 2008 Dyer hoax and an untold number of other miscellaneous hoaxes that never made the front pages. He swore on TV, that the Bigfoot in a freezer was real. Lying comes naturally to Tom Biscardi, since his entire life has been a lie. However Biscardi still competes for the title of Greatest Mastermind for Frauds upon the Public Sector, (without getting thrown in jail), with America's current record holder, the licensed and insured, General Contractors and Subcontractors of America.
