Exclusive: Skunk Ape Photographer Sent Us New Photographs In High Resolution

High resolution image sent to Bigfoot Evidence

The Florida Skunk Ape photo submitted by John Rodriguez to the Huffington Post was in low-resolution and details were hard to see. Rodriguez sent us these images yesterday to confirm what he photographed. These images are striking. You can definitely see details of the eyes and its hair. According to Huffington Post reporter Lee Speigel, Rodriguez sounds legit to him.

Rodriguez, a 66-year-old Florida man, claims he stumbled upon the creature while out fishing. He took several photographs, but only one came out good. "I was moving in a canoe and only got the one good shot," Rodriguez wrote.

Here are the images which are superior to the ones that were posted on The Huffington Post.

Unedited version that was sent to The Huffington Post

A different angle as witnessed rowed his canoe pass the creature

Now that we have both images we can do a mild reconstruction on the subject:

The originals are over 10MB each. We had to crop the images for better visibility.

    2. Agreed. This one is a joke. The white skunk stripe on the skunk ape is the clincher this is a prop. The camera man changes position while this unmovable prop sits there farting in the swamp water.

  4. He said that only one came out good? Well he should have said "only one came out well." He substituted an adjective for an adverb. Very big mistake. Oh and the photo looks fake

  11. I hope the owner of this website kills himself when he wakes up one day and realizes he's spent his whole life giving credence to hoaxers and focusing on the interpersonal drama between Bigfooters rather than on legitimate research efforts. "Why yes, please. Spend 3 hours a day telling me about how much you don't trust Rick Dyer and please feed me more bullshit from socially inept weirdos like Tim Fasano and Michael Marchant."

  17. Just so you know, only humans have a white sclera in their eye. All other primates have brown or black so that prey can't tell where they are looking. So whoever made this ape bust used human glass eyes instead of a great apes. Also, it looks plastic and fake because it is.

    1. First part of your statement is correct. The line about "prey can't see where they look" is unfounded and illogical.

Apes do not feature white sclera because it is an evolutionary construct. Humans rely on eye movement as a means of communication and interactions, apes do not.

Apes cannot turn their heads to the degree humans can, so there is less of a practicality to having a white sclera. They physically position themselves to view or indicate, we can merely 'look' in the direction with our eyes to indicate.

      http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/17140637/

Whomever fed you the line about prey is a goofball.

    2. If bigfoot is a relict hominid as many believe, and not an ape, it's a mute point about the white sclera of the eye. I think enhancements of Patty from the Patterson/Gimlin film might show some white of the eye.

But this skunk ape is obviously a fake.

    3. Chimps eat meat. All great apes are killers

      Delete
    4. And......

Nobody said Chimps do not eat meat, that's already a well established fact.

Your BS about sclera's and prey is just that though, BS.

  18. Wow. I can't believe the photographer was that close to the bigfoot and it never moved, not even its eyes! Wow, they sure are stealthy, aren't they Bigfoot Evidence?

  21. Amazing...how many morons watch this site 24/7 just waiting to try to discredit good material at any cost....lmfao....do any of you really believe serious researchers listen to your bullshit ??

    ReplyDelete
  22. It was very nice of Mr skunk ape to hold perfectly still and maintain a far off gaze while the photographer took shots from a few different angles. Maybe this is their defense mechanism at work - pretending to be a fake so as to encourage dangerous canoeists to just paddle on bye. Then again what self-respecting swamp paddler would stop for a closer look under such circumstances even if they thought it was real?

  23. I remember the day, when every post on here; wasn't crap, or promoting the latest hoax. What a waste of time.

    1. Ah yes back in the good ol' "Team Tazer" days when every post was promoting you. People bitched back then just as much as they bitch now. Nothing has changed. It was crap then and it's crap now, and that's how we like it.

    3. I remember a day when Merchant actually believed Bigfoot was just a myth and he had some common sense then all of a sudden he did a complete reversal and was a true believer. A few months later he was starring on a bigfoot show.

Seems like he realized there is more money and fame in crazy.

  24. You can't proove this is a hoax therefore it's REAL!

  25. I have extensive training and numerous hour of field work logged on the habits and actions of gorillas. Clearly this photograph depicts a real, living, breathing ape taking a Sh#t in the water. The simian clearly shows a grimace on his face as he sets motionless in the murky, algae infested swamp water while attempting to forcibly dislodge an impacted shit log that has been inside his anal canal for decades. I would recommend that the photographer responsible for this pic travel back to the site and scour the area while collecting up any/all shitlogs. Based on my expert analysis of this evidence, it is clear that the scientif community is on the verge of a huge discovery here!!
