This Shot And Killed This Poor Cat In Kentucky :-(
A Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officer shot and killed this mountain lion in Bourbon County last night. They say they had to kill it because they didn't have tranquilizer and if the animal had gotten away, it could have been a danger to the public. They say it's the first adult mountain lion they've ever caught in Kentucky. You can read more about it in the link below, near the video:

ReplyDeleteKentucky Bourbon County wildlife officer takes another shot !
ReplyDeleteIs it going to be tested to see if it is a western mountain lion or a Florida panther. There is not much difference looking at them. DNA should be done.
ReplyDeleteSo they decided to kill it because it existed in their state. It didn't know it had wandered into such a backwards state. Mountain lions have been moving eastward for years. Of course it's healthy, there is plenty to eat in Kentucky. It didn't walk straight there from California.
ReplyDeleteSurprising it wasn't getting $$$ for a fake disability like the rest of that white trash state

ReplyDeleteMy gosh, you can't even get the title correct? Can you not edit the title once you've posted or something? Just outright laziness.
I wonder how many people reported seeing this cat and heard the lame ass excuse "there are no such things as mountain lions in Kentucky". I had a similar experience in Colorado with a grizzly during elk season, which ate a 300lb gut pile of an elk I shot the day before. I saw it! Then I photographed the tracks which were bigger than my hat and the idiots at DOW tried to say they were fake, even after a bowhunter had been attacked and stabbed a grizzly to death with an arrow the year before. Fish and Game should be renamed Tourism and Entertainment Department, that is what their true purpose is. AAARRRGG! Very sad they killed this cat, since so few are in Kentucky.
