The Yeti, Loch Ness Monster, Amelia Earhart, Atlantis, All Belong to This Exclusive Club

The Times of India takes a look at some of the World's greatest unsolved mysteries. Take a look at what all is on the list. What else could be added, or will be added in our lifetime?

"Yeti: Tales of the Yeti or the 'abominable snowman' have been recorded and spoken about and even sent cryptozoologists in a tizzy but no one has ever come close to identifying the mythical creature. Though there have also been several reports and photographs and other traces of a large creatures footprints over open snow lands, no physical body has ever been found. Several studies have even claimed that the Yeti (or Bigfoot or sasquatches) might be an ancient relative of humans who is somehow thriving in complete solidarity. However, till some concrete proof is found the Yeti remains one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in the world.

Lochness Monster: The very popular sea monster known to live in the deep, daunting depths of Loch Ness in Scotland, the Lochness Monster could debatably be one of the most talked about mysteries of the world. Thousands of people flock religiously to Loch to catch a glimpse of this mysterious creature. There have been several theories concerning the Lochness monster, while some believe that it might be a survivor from the dinosaur family, others are convinced that it's a cryptic beast dwelling in the depths of the ocean.

Lost city of Atlantis: The mystery of the lost city of Atlantis still manages to hold the curiosity of people across the Globe. It is believed that simple, virtuous people once populated the island of Atlantis, but as the land started getting corrupted, Greek God Zeus gathered the other God's and in a surge of anger and violence, the entire city and its people were swallowed completely by the sea. Evidence of Atlantis being a real place can be found in Plato's writings and have sparked debates and controversies for centuries."

    8. We visited Inverness last month Joe. Spoke to a lot a few witnesses that have not come forward before. Some were pretty convincing, but the odds are stacked against something VERY large living there.

We checked out the theory that the creature gains access via River Ness but the river is pretty shallow in some places. Anything of considerable would we easily spotted frequently or could even get beached.

Inverness is a great Town Joe and the Loch is beautiful. Unfortunately no monster....

      The cryptid hunt continues....

      Get your ass up there.

    9. A close friend of mine lived in Inverness for a while; he said it was beautiful. I need to go there badly, I've only been as far as Glasgow, and that was to play a gig.

It's just that I heard at the bottom of Loch Ness there are thousands of eels living on whatever food is down there for them... And getting pretty big overtime?????

    10. Joe: In Roy Mackal's The Monsters of Loch Ness, published in the 1970's, he presents large eels as a good prospective Nessie.

  9. John W. Jones Spoke is a Low[key, fairly unknown researcher. He doesn't show any of his videos, pictures etc here because he's no fool! He would never, ever show anything he's gotten over 10 years of researching on this site.
He was writing 2 books, but he had a severe Stroke, and is in the Hospital in a coma. Only time will tell, if he fully recovers!
I am his Brother-in-law, and his best friend.
I've been going out with John, for the past 10 years. We and others that went with us, have seen and heard things, that Todd Standing would die for.
So think what you will, every time I comment here I'm attacked by you cowardly Anon's who attack, ANYONE who believes in Big foots.
I'm a Native American Mohawk, and I know they exist! Quit using the Bear excuse, Duh, I know what Bears look like, I've killed over 20 of them.
    Joe "Hawk Eye" spoke
and no, I'm not John! Please pray for my friend!
