Hackers (hoaxers) warn of zombie apocalypse on Montana TV station

The Zombie Apocalypse has begun. Earlier today, viewers watching KRTV 3 was interrupted with a warning about an impending zombie apocalypse. The station alerted viewers and announced that the "dead" were rising from their graves and on the attack. The alert warned viewers to stay as far away as possible from the living dead.

The network claimed they were hacked and said there was no emergency and its engineers were investigating.

[Update] This station was also interrupted with the Zombie alert. The Great Falls Tribune reports the hoax alert generated at least four calls to police to see if it was true.
