Finding Bigfoot Investigating Pine Ridge Indian Reservation Bigfoot Claim Tonight On Animal Planet

Silver Star Photo from November 2005
"Detail level comparable to Silver Star photos"
- Matt Moneymaker

Tonight on Finding Bigfoot, Matt Moneymaker and his team will be investigating a Bigfoot sighting on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota.  No one knows for sure what type of evidence will be unveiled during the investigation, but we're hoping that Moneymaker will finally reveal the "Shorty" photographs he talked about on Twitter last September.

A man named "Shorty" supposedly has an "impressive" photo of two Bigfoots taken on the reservation. According to Matt Moneymaker, the detail level is comparable to the Silver Star photos from southern Washington. "I think he'll release (license) it someday so everyone can see. He is reluctant right now. Bobo will try to talk sense into him," he wrote.

Last September, Matt Moneymaker tweeted these statements about the photographs:

A dude named Shorty on the Pine Ridge Indn Rez has a photo that he doesnt want to make public. Detail level comparable to Silver Star photos
...
Shorty will show you the photo in person if you know him already. Dont expect much detail in the photo, still impressive cuz it shows 2 BFs.
...
I think he'll release (license) it someday so everyone can see. He is reluctant right now. Bobo will try to talk sense into him.

If the photo is as impressive as the snowy peak Silver Star Photos, this could be a big deal. We hope that either Bobo or the producers of Finding Bigfoot convinced to "Shorty" to let them feature his photographs on Animal Planet tonight.

The Silver Star photographs were investigated on the first season of Finding Bigfoot. It's a series of photos taken in November 2005, just outside of Yacolt, WA. A backpacker said he took the following photographs on Silver Star Mountain in Gifford Pinchot National Forest as the creature was moving away. The clarity of the shots is nowhere near Patty, but the images are clear. The figure's shape, where it was photographed and the circumstances are very compelling.

The backpacker, Randee posted his account on Coast to Coast AM Radio:
On November 17, 2005, I was looking to the south from the summit of Silver Star Mountain. On the ridge across from me I saw something I thought looked a little strange, so I got out my camera and took some pictures. Right after I took the first shot it moved or stood up, and I took another picture. It then moved toward the south, away from me. I had to readjust because the wind was so strong, and it was difficult to move because the snow was waist deep. I got closer to a rock to steady myself and took another picture. By then it was moving down the hill. I don't think it was another backpacker or snowshoer.

  3. The Silver Star photos are compelling but just to far away to say for sure. A better camera with high zoom and we might know. If it was a hoax then he had the right camera.

  10. Silver Star is a known photoshopped hoax. Larry Lund outed it since some jerk borrowed his photos and superimposed them on the Silver Star scenic shots. Moneymaker knows that it is a hoax.

  11. Either way, the photos are just too ambiguous to conclude anything about them.

  12. I'm beginning to not like that show. It is the same thing every Sunday night, they find nada. But what can you really expect from a reality TV show, nothing really.

  14. I've seen a lot of bigfoots that looked just like the one in that photo at the ski resorts. They are very common and will come right up to you and even speak. Some of them sound like the samuri chatter.

  15. bobo's comment at the end of this episode says it all. and i quote "why does this always happen on the last night". probably because there was nothing at all there except the crew who try their best to leave the viewers thinking there was something out there. a noise in the woods does not always equal a bigfoot as monkeywanker and his team think, sometimes it just a noise.
