Unusual Bones Found Our Dunsmuir In Siskiyou County

An example of unidentified bone fragments

Siskiyou County has been a hotbed for Bigfoot news and activity lately. Last year, we reported on some prints discovered by a fishman near a creek in Klamath. The footprint photographs were published on Oregon Fly Fishing Blog.

Another person claims he stumbled upon a video of an "attack" of some kind. It was later exposed by bloggers as a marketing ploy for a thriller movie called, "Bigfoot County".

This latest news to come out of Siskiyou has been circulating the Bigfoot community on Facebook. Initially, it seemed the Sheriff's department may have found "human" remains near the Dunsmuir Airport. A sheriff's spokesperson said the remains, bones and bone fragments, were sent to Chico State for further analysis by forensic anthropologists.

On November 5th, Sheriff Jon Lopey stated:

Due to the location and state of the remains we will not be releasing any more information until detectives and anthropologists have completed their investigations. As with all investigations and analysis we will be utilizing all available technologies including DNA tests. We are considering the possibility that these may be related to missing persons cold cases and do not want to jeopardize those investigations until we can clearly identify the remains that were located.

A month later, the sheriff's office reports that the bones aren't human at all. The sherrif's spokeswoman said the bones belonged to some type of mammal but not a human.

What's interesting about this case was how sheriff's detectives treated the bones as though they were human. It took an entire month to finally identify the bones.

    4. The Siskiyou Mts. are some of the Most treacherous and least in-habitable area's of the Cascde Mountains. It would be a good place for BigFoot to inhabit freely without ever being detected. So I was excited when I first started reading this post until they quickly stated that the bones were found near the Dunsmuir airport ! I mean REALYY?? Another let down...

Still waiting on reports, papers, RL latest shot in the dark, the next hoax by dumbasses and poking at anything even remotely bigfoot related.

  3. MUST be a Bigfoot. There isn't dozens of different other animals that can belong too, it must be those mythical ape men.
