Dr. Melba Ketchum Versus Matt Moneymaker Tomorrow Night?
Editor's Note: This is a guest post by Bigfoot Evidence contributor Dirk Taylor, a Sasquatch enthusiast.
Well by now everyone has heard the news. Melba Ketchum has issued a press release containing the findings of her study.
What is most interesting about this is the timing. The Saturday after Thanksgiving Melba Ketchum issues a press release, which just so happens to fly in the face of her tight lipped nature over the past two years. Remember Ketchum went so far as to engage in a disinformation campaign in an attempt to undermine the trustworthiness of what was reported by Robert Lindsey. Now all of a sudden Ketchum issues a statement that confirms most, it not all of what Robert Lindsay has reported.
Now Ketchum’s sudden need to inform everyone just so happens to take place the day before an episode of Finding Bigfoot, where Matt Moneymaker and company are provided a large portion of what is believed to be Sasquatch hair. The previews make clear this hair was sent out for DNA testing, with the results scheduled for release on the episode.
One has to believe that Moneymaker’s DNA test has to show something that has never been seen before. Why else would Ketchum choose today to issue a release? Could it be that Ketchum is worried about being usurped by Moneymaker? Could it be that Ketchum is concerned that Moneymaker’s findings will render her paper an after thought, with all the credit for discovering Bigfoot DNA going to Moneymaker and Animal Planet?
Think about it. The discovery of Bigfoot DNA will be major news. Those responsible will not only be credited with a major scientific find but will also likely be afforded many opportunities to profit from their findings. Finding Bigfoot is an extremely popular show and their findings are sure to garner a great deal of attention. Is today’s release an attempt by Ketchum to prevent herself from being completely ignored when people talk about who discovered Bigfoot DNA?
I think Ketchum’s actions are very telling when anticipating what the world will see tomorrow night. I think it shows congratulations will be in order for Moneymaker and company as they have made a major discovery.
If only Sally were still around to let us all know for sure.

Preview for tomorrow night's episode of Finding Bigfoot:
First!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited, Melba you winner
DeleteWell, that'll be interesting if Matt now admits his favorite beast isn't some big wild ape after all but some kind of human. If that's the case, I really admire he's been able to keep that a secret.
DeleteFirst off, Lindsay got only one thing right. As far as this Disinformation, that also came from Lindsay so he could have been making that up to cover his own ass.
DeleteSecondly, this episode was most likely filmed last year as they were doing two seasons at once. What makes you think that the DNA from the hair was not sent to Melba? In interviews with Bobo, he has named Melba's DNA Study. He did it on that Pod cast and he did it again on news networks.
No, she had to because a Russian scientist let the cat out of the bag on her research. Get the all the facts and then write a blog post. Google is your friend.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. GOOD one. :)
DeleteDon't be a hater RM I'm sure it's possible that both matters might have prompted her to act sooner rather then later : )
DeleteUnless you have some inside scoop no-one else has, despite the fact that what you say makes sense, it's academic and you actually don't know.
DeleteGood one Rod and too true
DeleteYeah, "get the all the facts", wow.
DeleteSing it again, Sam.
In Soviet Russia Bigfoot finds you.
DeleteLol, yakof smirnof reference
Delete"Dirk Taylor"...what kind of drivel is this? C'mon!! Oooh right. Conspiracy and all that and you think she had an underground movement against RL?? (be sure you watch that spelling, BTW). Really?? ROFLMAO. NO one will believe her story, regardless of where the "paper" is published. Rubbish...as long as there is MtDNA that is HUMAN tied with it. Can you say CROSS CONTAMINATION??
ReplyDeleteMoneymaker couldn't pass the BAR in California, went to work at Kinko's and founded BFRO, hoorah! No, he's not writing any papers and only bought DNA from another researcher because his group couldn't find any for the last 8 years!! Fact! The only thing Moneymaker is going to release is an "I'm Sorry" to Bobo for calling bigfoot animals and apes for all these years...Eating crow is a har thing for old Matt, be ready, should be enlightening!!
DeleteI believe that it was stated in one of the other posts that the went to great lengths to rule out that possibility...
DeleteDid you ever think that cross contamination is the first thing they think about dumbass? That's why most DNA tests like this take so long because they double and triple repeat the test... idiot.
DeleteWhy do people say that Moneymaker "couldn't pass the bar"? After law school he became a webmaster and never took the bar. Saying he "couldn't pass the bar" makes it sounds he took the bar and failed.
DeleteI distinctly remember him saying in the Ohio episode that he started the BFRO web site while he was in law school.
I miss Sally......sure she isn't lurking just waiting to weigh in on the matter at any moment???
ReplyDeleteYou and me declare these truths to be self evident, you and me declare each other president, yoi and me,we both agree, thats just us....swimming to the alien shore
ReplyDeleteThat dumb episode of FB was taped at least six months ago and if they actually found verifiable proof of bigfoot DNA, we would have known about it already -- because there is one thing that these media hogs can't resist: major headlines and undeserved attention for themselves. Do you really think they would sit on such a discovery all these months just to reveal it during a crappy cable TV show? No, we will get an hour of suspenseful build up with stirring music and faux melodramatic narration all leading up to a giant turd of a climax with some fake biologist in a lab coat talking about how the DNA test results are "inconclusive" or some BS like that.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree!
DeleteYep.
DeleteAn excellent summation of foottardery.
DeleteWell said.
Delete?
DeleteMy thoughts exactly--thanks for saving me all that typing!
DeleteI don't think Melba was to worried about Moneymaker but I do think she wanted to get ahead of the Oxford study.

Description of Work: A film and/or documentary, narration or audio book, supporting photos and literary paper/document/book that will follow the The Sasquatch Project, the scientist and the scientific testing and proof for the existence of Sasquatch/ Bigfoot. Information will include discussion of results including A New Tribe of Living Humans, the complete Sasquatch mitochondrial genome sequence and nuclear DNA variations and text will show complete mitochondrial (mt) genome sequences were identified from DNA, analysis of the assembled sequence unequivocally establishes that the Sasquatch mtDNA falls inside the range of modern human mtDNAs and discussions of the origins thereof. The proof that the Sasquatch is not only the closest living human relative but is actually a contemporary living human. Also discussed is nuclear DNA testing performed on the same samples and the variations found in various genes including MC1R gene RUNX2 and FOXP2 as well as other targets genes involved in the perception of sound, transmission of nerve signals, the production of sperm and the lactase gene. Also discussed is how testing has ruled out ape cross and any ancient contributor and that Sasquatch is indeed a modern human with some genetic mutations accounting for their physical appearance. Also included are discussion of the history of samples and circumstances surrounding the acquisition, their testing, the circumstances surrounding the entire Sasquatch DNA Project. Adve.... blah blah blah blah blah blah"
I'm sorry but if any one of Meldrum's footprint casts are real, then this thing is not a "modern human". No "human" in the genus homo that is represented in the fossil record has a foot structure that makes those prints.
DeleteThe left topo map of a foot imprint in the link below is of A. aferensis. Notice the full foot wide mid-foot arch. The print to the right being H.sapiens, the two middle prints are H. erectus.
http://archaeology.about.com/od/prehumanhistory/ss/ileret_footprin_6.htm
Seeing how no DNA samples of any Australopithicines exist, this thing could be a robust form. The other possibility is that it is or is a direct offshoot of a progenitor species (either A. robustus or boisei being one). One directly in line with us but not totally us. If the mtDNA is human and it appears to be a hybrid, then maybe the old Native American stories of Sasquatch carrying off women is true for they have the ability to mate with modern humans.
But, I cannot believe they are "modern" homo Sapiens.
http://voices.yahoo.com/bigfoot-dna-report-hypothesis-2011-8786601.html?cat=58
The Patterson-Gimlin film shows what I believe to be more of a robust Australopithicine. Of course if the DNA hybrid theory proves out, then it may not be a pure form.
The old news is the information Dr Ketchum filed with the US copyright office. She filed a copy right on a book called Sasquatch tbe tribe revealed. It goes on to describe what tbe books contains.
DeleteSally here,
ReplyDeleteI'm personally glad Melba has this PR nightmare to deal with. She created this house of cards all by herself and couldn't even keep her half baked beans from getting spilled early! My Money is on Mr.Maker and crew.
Best wishes,
The Knower
The knower doesn't know shit! All the crap u fed us on the stupid Patty suit just to see a cheap Halloween costume now you expect us to listen to you again? Change you stupid name to the "Village Idiot" or "Don't know shit"!

Oh God I'm gasping; all along The Knower was Sally? Ye, how my head doth spin! I cower in the presence of such intelligence.

Wow im literally getting off right now at the thought of having another bigfoot blog with informative information news updates daily.
DeleteIts nice that this other website doesn't use deceiving headlines to suck people in then give them a let down often. Just pure bigfoot news. Its fantastic
DeleteI BELIEVE THAT HUMANS MATED WITH ANCIENT PRIMATES,YOU SHOULD SEE MY SISTERS EX HUSBANDS FAMILY-EEEECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHey, we aren't all that knuckle dragging. Mine only drag after a long day. ;)
Deletetypical redneck racism.. betcha "YOU" aren't much to look at either!
DeleteThe finding bigfoot show was filmed almost a year ago, Do you think Moneymaker would have waited this long, Not a chance in hell
ReplyDeleteYou are 100% correct.
DeleteWhenever these freaks have information they claim, or imply, that will shock the world... and then they sit on it, and wait, and wait, and drag out for dramatic effect... whenever this occurs, my B.S. detector immediately is set off. It's like that time the fool stuffed his rubber costume in a freezer, called press releases, contacted that Vegas conman, or more recently when some bubba claimed he shot a baby bigfoot. Basically put up or shut up. And why the delay? If I had undisputed proof, I'd let the world know and then I'd be on Letterman in two days talking about it.
ReplyDeleteRush onto Letterman's show? I think I would resist the temptation. There should be more respectable venues in the wake of indisputable evidence.
DeleteNow that is a good point!
ReplyDeleteShawn, are you now affiliated with MM and the BFRO?
ReplyDeleteThinking about it.
DeleteShawn, are you now affiliated with MM and the BFRO?
ReplyDeleteNah.
DeleteA lot of people are asking
ReplyDeleteAnyone else tired of that photo of the tall freak of nature in a bikini. What a distraction.
ReplyDeleteNo, it's the best thing on this blog. It should be the header for the page!
DeleteThere's one thing I don't understand.Did Lardass have to pay to get into the contest?
ReplyDeletePeople have asked about this tater business.
ReplyDeleteA tater is a potato.
A hole is an empty space.
Therefore, the word in question means a potato with a hole in it.
Alternately, it means a hole in which you insert a potato.
Either way, the term involves a potato and an empty space.
Okay?
Sincerely,
Timmy's loving boyfriend
P.S. You may forward comments and questions to my boyfriend, Timmy.
^^That's nowhere near what a taterhole is, you dicksmack.
DeleteGo ask your mom. She knows all about taterholin'
I squatched her last night.
TATERPALOOZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI think there could well be some juxtaposition among seperate studies to be first with the scoop, it makes me wonder about the timeline of unfolding announcements.
The first announcement seemed to be the suspicous claim of a Russian Professor Valentin Sapunov :
"Analysis was conducted in the Russia and US and 'agreed the hair came from a human-like creature which is not a Homo sapien yet is more closely related to man than a monkey', said the Siberian Times, citing claims made on a regional government website in Russia in the area where the hair samples were allegedly found."
Are the Russians trying claim the scoop.
This was reported on the 30th October but was considered as suspicous by another Russian Dr Igor Birtsev, who strangely enough was the person who leaked the results of the Ketchum study.
Is Birtsev a sleeper for the US efforts or is he managing a false Russian story to force Ketchums hand.
Clearly the Sykes study could well be putting pressure on the whole shooting match but exactly where the truth lies regarding group dynamics is fun to speculate.
I miss Timmy.
ReplyDeleteI wish he would come back out of Anonymous Land and #looneytoons approved-ville and fess up!
Shawn,
ReplyDeleteIs there any particular reason why you might be reluctant to answer this question?
Are you now affiliated with MM and the BFRO?
No, I am not.
DeleteSahn
Nice pic of ranaes armpit hair
ReplyDeleteThis story is why this is, and always will be the top Bigfoot site on the internet. A new website just popped up and it is laughable and really a complete joke. I visited the site and really thought it was run by a 10 year old child or mentally challenged adult- it's that bad.
ReplyDeleteBigfoot evidence is the best Bigfoot site going.
Have you noticed that none of the news networks or Reuters, the BBC or newspapers are even mentioning the leaking of the results and the press conference? Maybe there's no one outside of the Bigfoot community who cares
ReplyDeleteIt was leaked. Still waiting for the journal
DeleteBut there was a press conference right ? You'd think the press would report it?
DeleteThe Seattle PI picked it up tonight. With the holiday weekend, I think more will pick it up tomorrow.
DeleteAs the beard of Bob Titmus i can tell you this is the current battle of the titans with respect to bigfootery and bullshit in general.
ReplyDeleteIn one corner we have Moneymaker. He has the backing, the public profile, even the start of a real beard.
In the other corner is the Melba. Never one to be fucked with. She deals in the 'real' world of bigfoot DNA.
As the beard of Bob Titmus I predict a lot of cuntpunching and a draw. Right down the midde so neither side loses.
And the argument goes on...
If no one really cares enough to report what everyone thinks is earth shattering news does it matter whether Melba of Moneymaker take credit? Maybe believers and sceptics have both over estimated the importance of this study to the world because you'd think that some news network would be saying something and I don't think there's a cover up going on just it's not been deemed newsworthy which is kinda crazy because the Falcon Project got a lot of press even here in the UK
ReplyDeleteThe lamestream news networks ( at least some will probably bring it up as just filler news in the next couple of days, maybe more giggling and snide remarks. When we started discovering planets and solar systems years ago there was not a lot of attention on the alphabet channels. Science is not news to these cronies. Give us death, bad weather and scandals and run with that.
DeleteChuck
I keep my poop in a jar.
DeleteYeah very true as there is a whole load of "real" news going on at the moment (Problems in Egypt, Gaza Strip and Black Friday sales madness) but you'd think that at least there would be a story on all their news sites ? Or at least on Reuters? I'm amazed that a story hasn't appeared yet just as like you said a fluff piece for the news anchors to mock the Footers? It just seems weird that no one has deemed the possible verification of a new humanoid spiecies as worthy of placing on their news website at least, hell the mapping of the pig genome got press on the BBC's website and a woman in Sweden getting arrested for necrophilia was on Reuters but not one line about Melba?!!!
DeleteCould you please post a link to the story about the Swedish necrophiliac? Thanks in advance.
DeleteSorry my IPhone won't let me cut and paste the link! There's no photos with the story either, well there plenty of photos and DVDs according to the story but they're all in the possession of the Swedish police. Think she's charged with handling the bones in a shameful and unethical manner and could get 2 years in prison
DeleteYou must have many, many jars....
ReplyDeleteI keep my poop in a jar.
DeleteHow many jars??
DeleteHow many you got big boy
DeleteNone I poop in the bathroom :(
DeleteDammit man,that ain't no fun.
DeleteMoneyraker and Ketchup can go to hell. What we need to know are the poop filled jars refrigerated or kept in the cupboard under the stairs?
Deletehare we go again.

ReplyDeleteYour correct! Watch Destination Truth season 3 episode 9 to see Dr.Ketchum in action! The Bhutan Yeti hair sample is rumored to be the catalyst that piqued her interest in the subject in the first place. Reportedly this is also one of the hundreds of samples submitted to her study, along with the blood sample found at Snelgrove Lake by the Monster Quest crew. Two of my personal favorite cryptid shows contributing invaluable evidence to this possible study, eat your heart out Finding Bigfoot.

I wonder if Moneymaker would ever interview people that claim to have SHOT AND KILLED these creatures, or make a statement ABOUT THEIR actions? I can see why B.F.R. Would not associate with such low-lifes, yet D.N.A. Has been presented by hunters, issue is a hot topic, THERE IS LITTLE LEGAL protection, the WASTING OF A CARCASS has got to be discouraged!
ReplyDeleteWhat's with the d.n.a. evidence from California SHOOTINGS? Different, but if not discussed, then WHY NOT?
