Bobo > Matt Moneymaker?

With the growing popularity of Finding Bigfoot, there's one cast member whose fan base has swelled to epic proportions . In the past few weeks since the start of the new season, James "Bobo" Fay has made more TV appearances than his colleagues. Bobo has been interviewed on MSNBC's "The Cycle" as well as on the hit show, "Conan" on TBS. There are many reasons why Bobo's getting all the attention, but mainly it's because you feel like you can sit down and have a beer with the guy. That's exactly what a columnist in Manhattan did with Bobo one afternoon.

Froma Harrop of Robesonian.com writes:

Uncle Frank took both of us to dinner at a nice restaurant, where Bobo kept talking about Bigfoot. (Bobo’s father in Manhattan Beach, Calif., was reportedly hoping that his boy would get off the Bigfoot thing.)

Bobo is now a star. He was in New York to make a commercial for Wendy’s and “doing print media with MSNBC or CNBC.”

Bobo said a group of Army guys had just stopped him on Lexington Avenue to have their pictures taken together. That sort of thing happens a lot.

“They want to put it on their Facebook page,” he said. (I promptly took a photo for my Facebook page.)

People keep asking Bobo the same questions: Have you found him yet? Do you really think they’re real? Are they really from UFOs?

    1. The whole cast of Finding Bigfoot is a joke. Why not three scientists to run the show? Oh, b/c there are not three scientists wo even believe Bigfoot is possible.

    2. We need a show with Meldrum, Bindernagel, and Mionczynski running around the woods! Three scientists who would find one in three seconds!

  2. I rather wonder how Bobo would react if he came upon a real squatch? I mean, he's an awesome character on the show and all, but...

"We all know that 4 people surrounded by 8 more people in a camera crew will more than likely NOT have an encounter."

Having said that, I simply wonder how it would all go down he happened to be approached.

    2. According to Bobo, he's had "real" encounters already. Like 3 times or something. Just not with a camera team surrounding him. LOL Not gonna happen either. The show's about fun and games, NOT finding the big guy.

  7. Good for him. This is the USA where a pot head from Cali looking for a Bigfoot can become an international star. Why not capitalize an his new found fame? Go Bobo!

  8. From the start of that article:

"What a refreshing change from a campaign season heavy with creationists condemning subscribers to the theory of evolution for not accepting the strict Biblical interpretation of humanity’s origins."

    WTF?!?!

Just curious. Since it was so heavy, can I anyone point to just ONE such example from this past campaign??

And then on to global warming propaganda?!

    In a fucking bigfoot story?!?!

    Are Leftists psychotic?

    1. Just a New York City Lefty douche bag. He's probably a nice one. I guess I'm one of those hillbillies he refers to. Another reason I never want to go there.

  9. Matt moneymaker needs to wash his hair everytime he is on TV. He needs to shave and not look so greasy. He and Bobo need a queer eye make over. They look fat and dirty.

  10. While they address his need for a shower could they also please address his attitude. He needs to quite knocking his team members and get that chip off his shoulder. Like the show, but he makes it increasingly painful to watch. Wish they would just take him off the show!

  11. The difference between Matt and Bobo is that Bobo really believes in Bigfoot. Matt on the other hand knows full well there is no such thing but wants to get paid.
