DeleteA stall can and does happen when the critical angle of attack is exceeded. Thus, practice of the manuever to avoid a full blown stall is paramount for continued and controlled foward flight. However, should a full stall or speeds below vmc be experienced, a spin recovery would be in order. The recovery of a spin should also be practiced at least twice a year in actual conditions of flight. I write this as Armstrong may have spoken it. Besides, not much happening in BF circles...

Deleteyou think the hundreds (possibly thousands) of people who were involved in the lunar landing could actually keep their mouths shut if it were a hoax? sure. i can think of a half dozen instances where a significantly smaller number of gov't officials were malfeasant, and they couldn't keep their mouths shut (e.g., watergate, iran-contra, and so on)! if the lunar landing is a giant ass conspiracy, i'm a turkey club sandwich. unbelievable.

This beautiful Internet wouldn't be here if we hadn't went to the moon.. Virtually all electronic technology and communications are a direct result of solving the challenges we faced in those missions. Mr. Armstrong was a true hero and the world is a better place because of his actions.
