The photo above was posted on Dr. Meldrum's Facebook page. It compares the subject in the P/G film to hominins adapted to durophagy (hard prey-eating).
Dan's bust draws attention to the underlying anatomy of the face. The PG-film subject exhibits cranial proportions consistent with apes and hominins adapted to durophagy -- i.e. a diet containing tough/hard food items, processed largely on the post canine teeth. After reading David Paulides' "Hoopa Project" and looking at the sketches of the individuals, it's easy to imagine a face like the P. bosei.
