Almost two weeks ago, Todd Standing was at the center of the universe with his claim about the secret Bigfoot valley the locals called Sylvanic. Not only did he have knowledge of this secret valley of the Bigfoots, he also had photographic evidence of one of these creatures. For those who believe his claims, the photo was the clearest photo of Bigfoot ever. But for skeptics, it's one of the worst fakes out there.
Listen to Canadian radio personality Rob Breakenridge interview Todd Standing on the first half of the radio show. Standing said the Finding Bigfoot guys came to Banff just for him and he seemed really excited. However, it's not clear whether or not this radio interview was done before the Finding Bigfoot guys interrogated him and debunked his claims on camera. The second half of the interview features an interview with deputy editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine Benjamin Radford. The 'Critical Thinker' doesn't buy Standing's claim, or any claims about Bigfoot for that matter. "It's very strange to me how [Todd Standing] can get a sharp focus on the branches and trees, but not the Bigfoot… It certainly looks fake to me, not a very good fake," said Radford.
And one more thing...
One of our readers did some investigation work and discovered a replica statue of Todd Standing's Bigfoot at a Bigfoot restaurant called Bigfoot Pub and Grub. At this time, we cannot confirm if the statue was made before or after Todd Standing's famous photograph.

Huge fan of the site I am a daily reader! I was looking up some stuff on Todd Standing on the web and came across some publishing's that say one of his pics may be of a museum statue or carved of wood. So I did a good image search of Bigfoot statue's and came across these photos from a BF restaurant called Bigfoot Pub and Grub. Thought they had some similar qualities to the facial features in Todd's pictures and the BF statue's creater could have made others.

this is certainly fake. todd standing does not seem like a credible source and his "evidence" looks like a retouching hack job. as much as i'd love to believe his fantastic story, i do not. it would make a good movie though...
ReplyDeleteAfter examining the two examples I think I can safely say that they are not the same. This is not to say that Standings picture is real as it's obviously not.
ReplyDeleteWe backed Todd into a deep corner last year during our interview with him and the worse it got the more crap he and his sister would shovel at us. We found them to be ingenuous and proved it.

now you know why Standing is promoting "do not shoot these gentle animals" he is saying that so none of his cohorts won't get shot while standing in for the bigfoot that he films. these look like local natives he hired to "act" like a bigfoot. that would be too much guilt if one of his cohorts were filming and unsuspecting hunter spots one and shoots him.

Look at the top left of the supposed Bigfoots head or our right side view.
ReplyDeleteYou will see a piece of the background that he forgot to edit it looks like snow but it's the sky in the background. I mean unless the Bigfoot has a portion of his head missing.
