Pennsylvania White Bigfoot Enhanced

Enhanced with Sony Vegas Platinum 10.0

A little over a year ago, residents of a small town in PA caught this disturbing footage of a white Bigfoot. Although the original footage is grainy and dark, this enhanced version shows even more detail in not just the anatomy, but the locomotion of the creature or person. User cdx4 said this was enhanced using Sony Vegas Platinum 10.0 software.

Person in a White Bigfoot Costume?

The original footage, some call this an Albino Bigfoot

Residents of this small PA town are concerned of recent sightings and strange noises being heard at night of what appears to be some sort of Bigfoot human looking type creature. The creature though, is white in color. A homeowner captured this footage after they heard a disturbance in the back yard of their wooded property. This homeowner and others in this town had previously heard strange noises and disturbances for the last two weeks or so prior to this being captured on film. The town was confirmed as Carbondale PA.

  1. This has got to be real! If you look at the face closely, you see the nose move, a long upper lip, and a moving eyebrow rige. That my friend, is no mask!

    2. Some animals, cats for example, eyes shine in the dark due to the presence of a light-reflecting surface called the tapetum lucidum, located behind the retina. These layers of special glittering cells are made of the substance guanine- but vary between cat species, hence the colour they reflect.

Most primates do not have a Tapetum lucidum, including humans, chimps, and baboons. Some of the nightdwelling primates like lemurs do, but not tarsiers.

I hope this clears up any confusion related to eye shine in primates.

    3. There IS eye shine!! Look at the video at the very beginning when the light is shining to the right. You can faintly see the creature AND the EYE SHINE! :)

    4. what seems interersting to me is the quickness this animal moves with. and if its a guy in a suit, to move that fast is even moe interesting!! notice the gate of this bipedal animal. strides as if it uses a mid tarsal break. not a achilles tendon.

    5. Gotta be a fake.
The eyes to mouth section of the face is spaced too much like a human.
It's too close to the cameraman's size.
The guy is out walking alone in the dark, hears weird noises, flashes the light on it and only says "what was that?" He'd dooky his drawers.

Hell, I believe bigfoot exists and still don't believe crap like this!

    1. Yes, in fact Anon you can fake the face (besides a mask). If you aren't aware there are two main methods that a hoaxer could easily use to fake a face: the use of prosthetic applications (usually made of silicon or rubber that are attached through spirit gum, liquid latex, or a similar adhesive to the face) these applications come in all forms from injurys, to brow ridges, to skeletonized faces, any sort of facial feature can either be found or rendered an appropriate prosthetic. The other main way a hoaxer can use to fake facial features is the use of toilet paper (yes toilet paper) and adhesive (to create applications in fact you can layer the toilet paper and adhesive to create custom layers of skin and subsequently facial features). These are just two ways that modern horror/costume makeup can fake a face (besides a mask, which this most likely was just a mask with accentuated features [and to answer the first poster you can fake facial movements as well through either creating applications like I described which apply directly to the face or by padding the inside of a mask so its features are in contact with your own where your muscles move and cause the mask to move in accordance; besides the more likely explanation if a mask that it was just moving because of the wind/motion through running).

  3. I know a guy nick-named "Ice-man" or something along those lines--an albino, hence the name--who puts on motorcross pads and a big-foot costume and runs around in PA. Though, this was a good 7 to 10 years ago. . .

  4. Ummm.... this is super fake. Like, seriously WOW. It was a bad attempt. It looks like a Halloween mask and a white, furry. It was too skinny and the movement was so human-like. Good try, but it was still an epic fail.

  5. Hmmm? Why does this "albino bigfoot" look nothing like what a typical bigfoot is supposed to resemble? This is so fake. Super fake is right. Of course, it does seem a tad bit like the bigfoot in the Scooby Doo meets Laurel and Hardy episode in which Scooby and the gang encounter the white bigfoot.

  7. why when blogsquatch is filmed does the camera and light source always move AWAY from the subject? because it's a fake, and the filmmaker doesn't want us to see the subject stumbling and tripping through the woods.

  8. Anonymous- haven't you ever heard fo white Bigfoots before? There is a long history of them. And in this video, how can you say this is "so fake"?? Look at the reaction fo the creature. Can you turn and move that swiftly in the woods in pitch dark in a buly costume? What about the breathing sounds coming from the creature? And if you look closely, the face moves. If that is a costume it is Hollywood quality. And I just can;t see a couple of ordinary joes from a small town in PA having those kind of connections to pull this off. Looks real to me.

  9. I agree, it has to be real. The face grimaces as the camera guy runs up on him, the lip dips and the eyes open as if to say "...what the hell is this guy up to, YIKES!?" Then he bolts, same thing I'd do actually. There's LOTS of reports out there of white or gray bigfoots, maybe he's just an old guy?

  10. A top-notch 1st rate hoax. A costume of exceptional quality: facial reaction built into mask and no seams. Actor must be pro sprinter with exceptional night vision - "creature" reacts and out of frame in less than a second. I would have run into a tree for sure. The hoaxer obviously studied gorillas as the "creature" turns its head with its body, typical of primates. Albinism nice touch - strong SEO - stands out for greater YouTube play.

Wait... I grew up in NE PA... no one there has that kind of money or vision. It's real.

Seriously, I lean on legit for this. But be careful on a few points... (1) sound can be edited into film so discount wheezing. (2) there is nothing on the film to verify location. Poster giving location means nothing so it could be a Hollywood-quality costume filmed on a backlot set. Not likely, but viral video is hip these days ("hip" is not). (3) Don't discount based on length of stock: money-shot only edits are common since this is instant-gratification nation and most consumers won't watch long film of nothing sandwiching 30 secs of action. So when naysayers say "It can't be real it's too short, nothing happens before/after", this does not = nothing happened. Just nothing displayed. Good trolls excel at troll-fu; they are banking on your emotional investment to upset you. 1st rule of Internet - don't feed the trolls.

  11. Are you people kidding? First, who walks around with a camcorder and a crappy, what appears to be a cheap flashlight?

Secondly, have you seen the show "Face off"? The nose and lips move? That's your 'confirmation'? Really? Please people, pull your thoughts together and turn reason back on...

    1. My thoughts too...what, he just goes wandering through the darkness with his camera (normally no good in the dark) and just a flashlight?? And he just happens to pass his flashlight right across the creature's face? The camera movement is also odd - he stops at a particular tree, then sort of hovers around it as if he's establishing for the sweep left and making sure he's at the right point/height to start the sweep. Also, the creature's face looks like a mask/unnatural, and the cameraman's reaction sounds fake.

  12. one other point: You see a big white fur covered 'man' in the darkness of night with nothing but your high quality camera and LOW quality light (garbage=hoax) but, you don't see that say 'Oh, what was that...'

You'd be gone...Sorry if you believers really can't admit it. Not only is it a fake, it's a really bad one.

Why is he walking, videotaping in the dark woods, with such a low quality light system? Just enough to illuminate the face...PLEASE. Back to reality people...

    1. So basically your argument for it being fake is because that's not how YOU would react and he's using a regular flashlight. Since he <> you well then clearly it's a hoax.

From the article: "A homeowner captured this footage after they heard a disturbance in the BACK YARD of their wooded property." Now I'm not you either, but when I go into the back yard to check out noises I don't grab my stage lighting, IMAX gear, and FLIR. :P And I live in the state with the most reports in the US! Less than 1% of the US population has had an alleged encounter. Most people don't believe in Bigfoot and therefore don't "prepare" for it; they don't break out their top gear to check out noises behind the house. This guy was not a researcher nor a filmmaker, just an average homeowner.

Now the subject itself. Forget the speed at which it moves, the ape-like head/body turn, or the facial expression - really not enough evidence to say it's not a costume. But look at the 11 second mark of the enhanced film - you can make out the right arm which is very long in proportion to it's torso and the hand is very large, details consistent to great ape.

We agree that the original film ONLY really captures the face and shoulders in the low light condition. And it is true that a sophisticated mask can be mimic facial movements. But you are saying it is a hoax so motivation is important here. Why bother including details - arm length & hand size - most viewers will never see for a few seconds of film? And since there have been no other recording of this PA white Bigfoot, why create a costume detail you don't even bother to show off, ever?

I personally don't trust video or digital stills because the media can be manipulated. While I see no evidence of Photoshop after doing error level analysis, the film is too short and the original quality too poor to really be conclusive. ALL of the data combined in this video make it convincing (but it is not conclusive).

If you are going to take a position you need to provide support for that position. Saying it's "obvious" is not support. Saying you would not respond the same is not support, it's conjecture - it is not you on film in that circumstance - and it's introducing data not relevant to the case.

    1. Almost all Primates do not have Tapetum Lucidum which is the layer of tissue in the eye that causes shine.

  14. So this reportedly highly elusive and cautious creature, in which this particular one has no natural camouflage except in the brief periods throughout the year when there is snow on the ground, just stands there and watches as a person with a flashlight stomps through the woods at night towards it until he is within a few yards and is spotted, and then the creature acts totally surprised and frantically runs away???

  15. There are instances of albinism within the wild. I have seen deer that should have met an abrupt end due to their albinism yet still make it to see life beyond their first year. A social animal would have protection and if the sasquatch are as smart as claimed then perhaps these white ones serve other functions within the group besides hunting.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Not Albinism. There are too many reports of white ones to just say it's albinism. Likely a different breed of what we know as "Bigfoot". It could explain the lack of eye shine.

  17. I LIVE REAL CLOSE TO THAT PLACEIN CARBONDALE

  18. I would have to say a fake by one standard. I live in Montana, where wild animals are the norm. When you hear something at night and take flashlight and camera to investigate, you also take a firearm for self defense, not necessarily to kill, but to defend. However, with that said, no Human who pans a camera through the woods, spots a large creature by total happenstance in a flashlight arc, would react with just a low yield, almost bored sounding "Oh..what was that?"

The heart races, breathing speeds up, the body tenses and is ready for action, even from the most experienced outdoors people. All people react to surprises, and even my military training would have been put to the test to remain calm on seeing something like that a few yards from me in the dark. The guy didn't try to put distance, didn't try to keep filming, he just sounded bored and then ended the filming. All that, in my opinion, says hoax.

    1. I agree with this guy, im a former marine and i would have been saying more than "what was that" especially at an almost whisper. I would have been like "HOLY SH#T Did you see that!" or along those lines. This is a really good fake though!

    2. I disagree with this.

I myself have grabbed a headlamp and run into the middle of the woods at night to investigate noises. I found out that it was a redfox.

But I do agree, lots of people are cowards.

Boys these days are wearing their sister's jeans and voting - well let's just say the wrong way.

Get the girl pregnant and leave her. Cowards.

    3. My brother was a Marine and in many regards I find him to be timid and sometimes scared of life.

Do you guys remember the story from the PAC NW where a guy see a BF on the side of the road, turns a corner and gets out of his car.

Then he circles around through the woods to confront the BF or Hoaxer. But it turns out that it's a BF?

Not everyone is soft like JFK who said "I'd rather be Red (Red Soviet) than dead".

  19. Nice video. Unfortunately there's not a lot of scope for analysis to get a firm sense of it being a hoax or authentic. If it's fake, it's a good mask or prosthetics.

  20. My issue is that it looks a hell of a lot like this:

    http://www.purecostumes.com/halloween-costumes/01082/abominable-snowman-adult-costume.html

It even has the "grimace" in it's mouth.

Now it may not be it and if it is a hoax it is a very good one since we don't get the typical stuff you see in hoaxes:

    -Terrible acting
    -Bigfoot crossing road
    -Daylight condition
    -Long screen time
    -Stiff walking
    -Really Blurry
    -Shaky Cam

As well as the other usual stuff you would see in a poorly made hoax, which for the most part is absent.

  21. i live on said mountain in pa that this was taken and i con only say this being an AVID bigfoot believer from an encounter i had as a child in OHIO...The sounds that i do hear at times way back on mountain DO in fact hear like howls and screams and i do know various people in town (hunter, policemman) who have claimed to see something out of the ordinary so i cannot confirm or deny this story until he run across me in the woods

  22. There are too many factors that point to the legitimacy of this video for it to be a fake.

    1. Albinism.
    2. Moving facial features (grimace) coupled with ...
    3. Inhuman facial proportions - the area between the nose and the upper lip is way too big to be human.
    4. Impossible arm ratio for a human. Not only is the length 20 percent longer, look where the right arm bends.
    5. Arm / Elbow bend. You can't fake where an arm bends at the elbow, and a human in a costume would need to extend the forearm to give the appearance of a 60 % arm to body ratio. If it were a human in a costume, their elbow would still bend in the same place. This creature's elbow bends down near the waist. Before you trolls put your usual negative-attention-seeking drivel reply to my logic, stand up and bend your arm. Now watch the video again.
    6. Profile - again you can't fake a bigfoot sloping forehead with a costume when you consider how slender this bigfoot is. In order to give the appearance of as sloping forehead, a human in a costume would have a much bulkier head than this. A human head simply would not fit into this profile--now consider the grimace with this in mind.
    7. Neck - The trapezius is way too large for a human. A costume would require a prosthetic, which wouldn't allow for the fluid motion here imho.
    8. Fluid motion - This is not the motion of a human in a costume at night in the woods.

If this is hoax, it is extraordinary. Sherlock holmes eliminates possibilities one at a time until he reaches the most logical conclusion. Unlike the camper video, I can't find cons about this video. This is the real deal - all logical conclusions preclude the possibility of a human in a costume.

You did a great job with the facts about Bigfoot anatomy and which avg person does not know. Most important 60 % arm to body ratio.

  23. Guys,

    2 Things.

    1. I see that the Right arm is long, real long but I can't see the left arm. It's as if it's behind it's body. Is this noted in other sightings? Smaller profile?

    2. Also, Deer Hunter have noted that an animal will spook at night or at last light and run right into a tree. It would have been awesome if this BF would have knocked itself out after hitting a tree.

I've seen a video where a bowhunted Whitetail gets shoot and immediately he runs into a tree. Doesn't fall over but eventually does, his speed is definitely impeded.
